In their own words
BEWARE. We chose this company for it's amazing reviews to finish wrapping our furniture and then move our apt into a POD. We were told beforehand to buy a lot of moving blankets to wrap our furniture in (not cheap). We were very explicit that any items not boxed needed to be wrapped and gave specific examples. One of us noticed that some items were not being wrapped and personally handed the furniture blankets to them with a reminder. They finished in 1.5 hrs (pay for 2 hr min).
DO NOT select this moving company!! They were booked and confirmed days in advance by Moving Help for a fairly small job, one UBox that wasn’t full. The movers never showed up on the confirmed date. They then replied on text saying Moving Help overbooked them for the day and they would come first thing the following morning. I contacted around 6 am the following morning for an update. They said they would reply by 9am. By 10:30 they still hadn’t replied so I called and text.
Hi Alyssa, I am sorry this happened but I am 100% sure you have the wrong Elite Movers. This happens often being that they are more than one Elite Movers on Moving Help. I am not seeing a signed service agreement with your name. Our company has never not delivered on our promise.
A team of 3 staff came to help my mover S & M Relo unload the truck. After 2 hours they were done. Taelor told us they are used to 19k pounds but not the size of our truck. All of the boxes for the upstairs have been left in the garage, office, master bed room, and kitchen. Rooms were clearly marked as "office", "boys room", "girls room" and "loft". Boxes for the loft were brought in upside down, no wonder you couldn't see the labels! Disrespectful to the homeowner, not a company I would hire.

We had Cory and his crew pack our furniture and move it from North Charleston, SC to Franklin, NC. It was 5 hours travel time one way but they did it in a day with no complaints. They were prompt arriving, pleasant to work with and they are efficient yet very careful. They could not have been better to work with. Elite was very responsive, quoted us a great price and there were no surprises. I can't say enough great things. They took all the stress out of a last minute move.
Stop scrolling and hire this team—you won’t regret it! We had a complicated move involving two houses in West Ashley and a final destination in Hanahan. The first move was from my husband’s house to a storage unit, and I was blown away by how quickly and carefully they worked. Every item was wrapped and handled with care, yet they moved efficiently. I was so impressed that I booked them for our next two moves.
Our family move was in West Ashley. Contacted Elite Movers for a quote and availability. Talked to Amber. She gave us pricing for our move with two or three movers. Three movers was our choice. They moved all our Furniture from a 3 bedroom apartment on the third floor to a townhome about 3 miles away in three and a half hours. Corey, Benjamin and Quarius were assigned our move. They arrived on time and we discussed with Corey the furniture we wanted moved.
