Update: same company and same email correspondence in my records showing no response beyond the automated message and quote expiration. Matt provided a moving quote, but I was unable to leave voicemail messages. I also did not receive responses to my emails. Being able to reliably communicate is important, so I decided not to hire this company. The only response I received was the automated email, and the quote eventually timed out and was canceled.

I would **not recommend this moving company for any service. During my move, their movers damaged my $14,000 Tempur Pedic mattress. Before hiring the company, I specifically asked whether their professional movers were capable of properly setting up the mattress. I was assured that their professional personnel could handle the setup without any issues. Unfortunately, that assurance was not honored.
A friend of mine referred smooth move to me because of the great experience and service she had with Julius. I made reservations and requested Julius to be my mover and the guy on the phone assured me Julius will be the one of the movers. Horrible experiece and service we recieve from the three gentlemen Dexter Cody and Donyele.

Do not believe the quote they give you!!! There is a $200.00 fee for travel time that they do not tell you about until your move is finished. They will simply add it to your total at the end. The movers (who did a great job and were very professional) put us on the phone with the office and the person we spoke with was rude and dismissive. He basically hung up on us. This moving company damaged a huge number of the objects they moved for my aging parents - a ruined television, smashed washing machine, damaged furniture and antiques. We are still trying to review the matter with them and they are largely unresponsive. Beware.

Highly recommend Smooth Move! I scheduled everything with Alex over the phone and he was extremely professional and answered all of my questions. John, Maurice, and Mark were my movers and did such an amazing job and were so friendly. They wrapped each piece of furniture and took great care of everything. I’ve used several moving companies in the past and this was by far the best experience!

This is my second time using smooth move, and they are a really great company. The movers are always very professional and helpful. All of their paperwork is electronic, which is so convenient and easy for signing. They worked hard to get everything moved to the correct spot. Had a great experience with Smooth Move wand DeMarco and Donielle. They were on time and got started moving boxes and furniture as soon as they got there. They took their time loading to ensure items were properly stacked utilizing all the space while protecting the furniture. Would definitely recommend for moving.
