In their own words
We hired them to move just our big furniture items end of June. Our TV, which wasn’t being moved by them, got knocked over by them during the moving process and screen got destroyed. Our car bumper was also hit. They bumped the trailer parked behind it when driving their truck away and so they knocked the trailer which caused the trailer hitch to put a hole in our bumper. Also broke a furniture piece of ours (buffet table) during the moving process.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. This move was a complete nightmare. The movers arrived late with no communication, then wasted time wandering around instead of working. Minutes later, two of them got into a screaming match in the middle …
**Having your own staff leave positive reviews for themselves… Yikes. I was instructed that any insurance beyond the basic one is unnecessary and “stupid.” I of course will trust the moving supervisor in all of this when I am already spending a fortune to move. I will now not be compensated correctly in the hundreds of dollars in damage at the hands of the movers. There were such careless mistakes and actions taken that are now at my expense.
Walter and crew, helped us get moved into our new home. They were very pleasant and we had thought they did a good job until we found after they had left that they did not assemble shelves that they unassembled in my garage. They left us with a mess as they just piled things in the garage without any concern on how we would get to it. We are disappointed and wish we had spoken up at the time and had them correct it, however, we were too busy showing them in the house where everything else went.
We were told one price on the move. When the movers got there, one of the movers was on his phone for over half of the time. And they charged me more money because it took longer. We have called several times to try to reach the office they say they were looking into it and was going to call us back. We have never heard back from them.
The movers were great people and a big help. However when I agreed to do this I was not made aware of a 2 hour minimum charge, I was under the impression it was 1 hour and then prorated to the minute. I paid over $400 total for 2 guys to unload a shipping pod in 50 minutes. Not happy about the pricing not being transparent.

We had an amazing experience with Saltwater Moving! (Kenny, Larry, Jeff, and Breeze) From start to finish, they were professional, hardworking, and incredibly careful with all of our belongings. They took apart our beds and dressers, moved everything safely, and reassembled it all perfectly at our new home. They also transported our TVs with great care, making sure everything arrived safely without any damage. What really stood out was how communicative and flexible they were.

What a GREAT moving experience! From the moment I called and spoke to Rhys Evans at Saltwater Moving, I knew this was the place to help get our move done! The movers arrived a little early and jumped right in! We had Ramone and EJ as our moving crew and they were great! They were funny, personable, crazy strong and efficient. They got everything done in about 2 hours - which was really and truly amazing! They really went above and beyond and it was such a pleasure to work with them!

Luke was so helpful and checked in before the move, ensuring a smooth transition. He was also accommodating when I had to last minute tack on my washer and dryer for transport. They communicated well when they had a cancellation and were able to get me in sooner that morning to get everything done timely. My movers Omari, LP and Brandon were hilarious! This was the best (and fastest) move I've ever had.
