Do NOT use this moving company! Very unprofessional company. We live in a condo and the movers damaged the ceiling grid in the elevator and when I filed a claim with their "claim department", nothing got done about it and now we have to pay for it. When I confronted the movers about it, of course, they denied it and their tone definitely changed once I mentioned it to them. They became quite rude with me.
I've used Expert Movers a couple times for my business before using them to move my home. We had Expert Movers pack our home and bring everything to a storage facility. They struggled to fit everything in the storage space despite my assurances we could get a bigger storage space if needed - they continued to decline. Some time later we had them move the items from the storage space and unpack at our new home. While they were unpacking it became clear there were many damaged and broken pieces.

I worked with expert movers in the year 2020. I gave them a three star review at the time. I had an interaction with a scammer yesterday that brought back memories of this move. I realized three stars doesn't reflect my experience. I have updated this review to 1 star. This review is meant for Expert Movers. It is not meant for another moving company. The 3 movers showed up without face mask. I had not planned to provide mask to them but happened to have extra disposable masks on hand.

We hired Expert Movers to come move us out on June 21 at 12. We were moving from two high rises, so the timeframes were very tight. At 12:30 on the 21, Expert calls us and says they will not be here until 3:00 at the earliest! WHAT! We had to re-schedule our entire move at the drop of a hat for two days later; then, they wouldn’t take off ANY discount, not even a free hour, to compensate for their mistake and the inconvenience they caused us!!!!!

Truly the worst move experience I've ever had. Felt bad for the guys that moved us because the owner just didn't allocate enough people for this move. We went from a 2 bedroom to a 3 bedroom right down the street, not even a mile away and the move took 6 hours, when it should have only taken 4. We paid them for the additional hours and tipped the men that showed because we felt so bad for them. They ended up breaking a desk, hit many walls...
They lie about the price. The "estimated travel time" is not included within the "Estimated Quote" price. You need to add $160 for the "estimated travel time". So if your quote is Estimated at $560 and $720, you need to add an extra $160 to that and they do not disclose this. Also, the "estimated travel time" has nothing to do with actual travel time, it is a "truck service fee" charge. Overall awful experience and awful customer service. Use Alliance Mover or Two Men & a Truck.

The price was greaT, they showed up on time and the booking was simple. The movers were professional and very nice. But they broke our freezer, dented our diaper pail, and damaged our mattress, and the insurance is peanuts.

This was my second time using Expert Movers, to get stuff from both our apartment, as well as storage unit, and move it all to a unit on the third floor, but Expert Movers was extremely efficient. The team that moved me was Forman Manuel, with Beto, Dario and Camilo. Will happily use them a third time for our next move!
