I recently utilized this service for my move. We mainly wanted the bigger items moved and TVs. However they didn’t take the TVs. They removed bedding, they removed drawers vs just taking items out, they BROKE my outdoor table and didn’t tell me. I only noticed because I went outside to look. I had an interview and had to leave. Then they said that their was a language barrier with my mother in law, but yet they were in contact with my husband the whole time. They picked and chose what to tell me.

Avoid at all cost! I called for a quote and was impressed with the rate. After asking some general questions I realized they are frauds. They said a four bedroom house would take several back and forth trips in their 26 foot truck over a period of eight hours. They are time suckers! Taking advantage of people with hidden motives. Further, the questions I asked appeared to be to revealing, making the person hostile and argumentative. If I could give half a star or no star I would.

Movers stole from my personal belongings. Left washer and dryer far from hookups. Took two loads in a half fill truck rather than one full load to increase their profit. Movers also stole shower head. I contacted Express Movers, who failed to contact me but, rather contacted the social program which, blindly paid them, to have me delete my truthful review, censorship in Yelp.

Swindlers and cons. Paid per hour they refused to load a massive Allied orange semi trailer more than single level, resulting in multiple trips across town, more time, and surprise- more money!!! When men arrived they refused to move our piano (which is why we hired movers and we were assured by their company that they were capable) until my husband told them it had been authorized by the co.

I contacted this company in Bakersfield,CA based on good reviews but Ben from Bakersfield Express moving company kind of scam me for charging me more than what we have committed on the phone. I trusted Ben on the phone and confirmed his company for my local moving. I will never recommend and reach out this company in future.

Ben & Jason are being so rude canceling the moving right on time and talking so badly. It doesn’t make sense without communicating with us he cancel the job just because he has some other big jobs to take care of. That’s so rude for being in such a business and treating customers like this.
Hello Surinder, we are sorry we had to cancel on your booking. When we booked your move to move within 18 hours we were told your move was of a certain size. Since it was described as a small move we went ahead and booked the move.

Express Moving and Storage was, simply put, outstanding in all aspects of my recent move in Bakersfield. Phone contact personnel were friendly, knowledgeable, and accurate. When it was time to move, their truck and workers arrived on time, fully equipped, and professionally dressed (ready to go to work). All my furniture was carefully moved and accurately placed and secured (and cushioned) in the their truck.

I had a wonderful experience with Express Moving! From the very beginning, Ben was incredibly helpful when I called to book my move. He answered all of my questions, had a great sense of humor, and made the scheduling process easy and stress-free. Express Moving and Storage has moved us numerous times. They moved our office, they have moved us seven or eight times, I had them move my wifes mother and they moved us from Bakersfield to Reno just this past September. All of these moves have been made on schedule, safely and nothing has ever been damaged. I highly recommend them to anyone that I know is planning to move. The man that owns Express Moving I have known since we were kids. Ben and his son, Jason, are honest and hard working.
