Meathead Movers

DO NOT HIRE!!! The worst service I have ever received!!!! I’m so upset on how they handled everything. First of all, they claim to be professional but they’re not. They’re literal kids with no work ethic nor work experience. They could less about your valuables. I hired them because TROY was so convincing that they were the best in town. BIGGEST REGRET EVER! Not only did they damage most of my valuables but they caused damage to my new construction home!!!! And they over charge so much!!!

I was excited to use the service until all was said and done. One of the worst customer service experiences. I was 7.5 months pregnant and had my entire home packed. All I needed was the muscle to move it. The man called to confirm service said he was throwing in an extra truck for convenience for free. Upon arrive on of the mentors was mad about the second truck said it could not be used the second mentor said yes boss said it can. The two argued back and forth until I stepped in and said let’s get started.

I hired Meathead movers and I could not be more disappointed, First the movers did not tie down or secure my furniture and my wall unit book shelf and desk tumbled over, This is a 6 piece unit that is 7 foot tall purchased from MOR furnishings. All 6 pieces were damaged, Splintered, dented, scratched. The movers did not even acknowledge that they damaged it, I took pictures as each piece came off the truck and asked the mover to call his supervisor because my property was damaged.

I had high hopes for this company after viewing their commercials for years. It started off well enough and we went over the items to be delivered multiple times. The quote was higher than expected but I liked the idea of paying student movers, so I accepted the price. On the day of the move the team leader did a walk through and took plenty of notes. After about 15 minutes and a call to a supervisor he came back and said our price would be $1000 more (25% higher) and the truck might not be big enough.

Worst Experience EVER! I moved from house to storage. I had all my boxes packed and lined up in the garage to load the moving truck. They did move furniture from the house to the moving truck. I move every few years, and this by far was the worst. Make sure you have the exact number of boxes you will be moving, and NOTE the difference between a STORAGE BIN AND A BOX. I had pictures in banker's boxes and also totes a size of the bankers box, and they wouldn't move the little totes.

Very disappointed and will not use again. We used them back in September on three separate occasions. There was a miscommunication between with their operations managers and only sent one truck the day we were moving and needless to say they couldn’t fit everything so I had to pay for them to come back for a second day. The athletes/students were very nice and professional and worked hard, but I think they were more worried about finishing under their time then they are on the quality of their service.

WARNING Worst experience ever!! The lied and said the set price will not exceed a certain amount which is based on an allotted timeframe of 3 hours. However, the teenage movers were moving very slow and I ended up not getting a whole lot moved because of the scamish time based thing… truck was not even filled but they basically said times up… in addition.

Date of Service 6/6/25, start time 10:45 am. Insufficient resources for the level of services promised. Meathead did not fulfill their part of the contract, but requested a new contract to charge me more at 5pm. I complained and after a 10 plus minute hold, a discount was applied. It was still over $4,000 final cost. I was scheduled to turnover house keys at 6pm. Due to the amount of items left by Meathead, I had to solicit help from family and friends and turned in keys at 10 pm. I was treated poorly.
