I would give a 0 star review if it was an option. I am formally filing a complaint against Hansen's Moving & Storage. We used them back in the end of June/early July when we moved and it turned out to be a complete nightmare. The amount of damage they caused and furniture that they broke and ruined exceeded what my invoice total was by double, if not more. The office manager, Darcy, was extremely rude when I called and complaint and told me that she could not help me.

This guy Jim came to my home, conducted a survey, and said it would take four guys, one truck, and cost about $1,715 for 7 hours. Instead, I got billed $2,400 — $2,200 for 9 hours with only 3 guys who could barely lift heavy items. Not 4 people as promised, but 3, just to keep getting paid more by the hour. Then they said they couldn’t move the gym equipment on Saturday because they needed a “liftgate.” When they came back another day, still without a liftgate, they charged me an extra $150.

The movers showed up late. Started out they were supposed to be at our residence between 7:30 and 8:00 am. That changed to 8 and 8:30. They showed up after 9:00 am. The had no respect for us or our belongings. One spit on the walkway that they used to load up the van on. They brought a van that was too small for the job so they had to make 2 trips. Fortunately it was a local move. They were careless and damaged several items. They were in a big hurry to finish the job and leave.

We moved from California to Arizona with Hansen's Movers.Some things were left behind because they did not have room in their truck and I'm missing several things, including costume jewelry, from my master bedroom dresser. We were told to put things in plastic bags and leave them in the drawers, which we did. They were in quite a hurry on the other end, unloading everything. Many pieces of furniture were scratched and dinged. My husband and I have moved several times and this was one of our worst.

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!!! If you DON’T want to be ripped off hire some other company…. I was quoted around $500 for their minimum 2.5 hours for 2 crew members and I was okay with their charge of $185/hour… and I specifically asked Leila if this included the wrapping of my 2 tv’s which she said yes to… come to find out that they charged me an extra $350 for 2 boxes for the tv’s and $300 for some shrink wrap!!!!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Do NOT Use Hansen's Moving Company OR Atlas Moving Truck Company for ANYTHING! Our entire house and businesses were loaded up onto a huge semi-truck in late May 2021, now being late July 2021, Hansen's/Atlas has NOT delivered our belongings and there has not been any communication or answers on when our things will be delivered. The only communication has been via the Better Business Bureau, which, I was forced to contact in hopes of getting answers.

We recently conducted an in town move and through the recommendation of our realtor, we went with Hansen’s. A few things on this leading to an overall bad experience. The biggest issue was when are 65 inch flatscreen received three deep gouges in the screen. I noticed it when it was set in the new living room area.

DO NOT USE these people to move you! Where do I begin? They did a local move for us recently - knowing up front they would be storing our items for 2-3 months until our home was finished being built. I personally packed the vast majority of our items and had it all stored in storage so all they had to "pack" and move was mostly furniture, clocks a few lamps, our king size Sleep number bed and garage/shop stuff. The "move out" took ALL DAY (charged by the hour).
