Ordered and verified availability to assist in my move for myself and my 15 year old daughter. 2 Movers verified for 2 hours from 11:00am to 1:00pm the following day. The night before the move I received a text message asking how many items needed moving, etc. I provided a detailed answer and was then texted that they had availability in the afternoon between 2pm and 3pm. Obtained the U'Haul at 10:30am as previously planned and waited. After 3:30pm I texted "Are you still coming" as well as attempted to call.

I liked the fact that they were a Veteran -owned business. They agreed to come to my storage space in Ashburn and help me attach my cartop carrier and load it up. I got all ready for them and brought everything down from my 2nd floor unit. The guy started whining immediately, saying they didn't tell him he had to attach a cartop carrier. This cartop carrier fits on any car and is simple to install. I had surgery on my hand or I (75 yr old female) could have done it myself.

Incredibly unprofessional & way too expensive for the services I received. I booked two guys for a two hour job starting at 11 AM. On the day of, I called to ask when they would arrive as they were already half an hour late & they had no record of my reservation despite the fact that they charged me the day I made the reservation.

Hired this company from Thumbtack. I was offered a teaser rate of $385 for 2 hours based on the information I provided them. 1 bedroom move, 1 king bed, 2 TV’s, 1 dresser as large items. The move took 6 hours with two movers which resulted in additional overages of $900. One of the movers did a good job and seemed to be running the operation. The other smelled like weed and even ate some of the leftover turkey I had because he was hungry..he seemed to be struggling. I budgeted for an extra 2 hours.

Avoid at all costs. I contacted them on Craigslist and they gave me an obscene cost for labor only. I told them so and they offered to match the price I was going to pay with another company. They confirmed an 8 am start on two separate …

I can’t say enough good things about the two movers who tackled a seriously tricky job at my home. They had to move a heavy granite countertop—with a kitchen sink attached—from my back deck up a flight of stairs to my kitchen under construction. To make things even more challenging, the granite slab was already broken in the middle, making it incredibly fragile. These guys handled the job with absolute skill and professionalism.
