EZ Moving

Very disappointed with this company and the service we got. We thought we were going to get help from a knowledgeable moving crew but that was far from the case. 2 Movers showed up almost an hour late, and one guy just had a really poor attitude the whole time. Seemed like they were upset from the moment they walked in. My wife and I and even my mother, had to do a lot of the heavy lifting and moving to try and pick up the pace.

I spent thousands of dollars with EZ Moving for both my move and storage. The movers were polite, but the overall experience has been extremely disappointing. First, they damaged a dresser during the move and, even though I paid for insurance, they made it extremely difficult to be reimbursed - requiring that I find a replacement leg from the manufacturer, repair it myself, then they would pay for parts. Now, months later, they’ve decided to double my monthly storage rate without any meaningful explanation.

Recently worked with EZ Move, to be fair they were ok when my Mother used them, but different crew entirely then. Unfortunately, quite a bad experience for us and very poor customer service resolving our issues (no refund, no apologies offered). They drove their moving truck illegally on I-70 with no snow tires or chains to our home. This was after they rescheduled our original move. Proceeded to get stuck in our cul-de-sac which a 2 wheel drive sedan can drive through just fine, so pretty poor equipment overall.

I believe this company holds a 5 star rating, because they have earn every star from their customers. Which many companies have learn to master CS; but my rating is based on human respect. Which today has been replaced with the bellies of greed; dressed up to appear beautiful. From my experience this company is a respector of persons. If you appear rich and have the ability to pay; you will receive 5 Star service. FACTS!! If you appear poor and have the ability to pay??

Beware! If you have issues, such as toolbox missing, Mario, the owner will give response that he had never had any complaints. Additionally, then won't return calls to send someone out to fix my Sleep Number bed that wasn't assembled correctly as it only goes up on one side now. Very poor response to customer complaints about service received.

A EZ Moving driver parked their moving truck blocking in a 91year old woman on a +90degree day. He refused to move and used rude language towards her. I would not recommend any company that has employees that act like this.

I hired EZ Moving because a coworker recommended them. I am not pleases with the couch situation and how long the move took. I was told they could not get my couch out of my apartment as "angles change" which makes no sense. If you do the steps that got the couch into the apartment in reverse, it will come out. I ended up having to buy an entirely new couch after the old one was cut into pieces and thrown in the dumpster. I think it is work mentioning my old couch was in near perfect condition.

I used this moving company once before and was very pleased. So when I switched apartments two years later, of course I contacted them again.The owner responded quickly and got my move scheduled. Three movers arrived early, but they had called in advance. The movers were kind and professional. My issue with the company is that I was charged more to move from one apartment to another NEXT DOOR than I was charged to move from a house to my old apartment, with use of the truck plus mileage.
