I rehired this company for my move earlier this year because they did a really good job last time. This year, they sent two young, scrawny boys who were right out of high school. They were unprofessional as could be. They showed up late because they stopped at Wendy's to get lunch, coming straight from another move. They took their time. They didn't do well. I don't know if they were exhausted or just weak. They had a poor ethic, so I suspect the latter.

I used MoveMasters to store my belongings while I was out of state for several years. My experience with them ranged from really good to really bad, and generally speaking, they are pleasant to deal with. I would strongly recommend against working with this company. I purchased custom furniture through an out-of-state interior design firm who contracted with Movemasters for the receiving and delivery. A valuable, brand new custom chair was damaged by them while in their possession. Unfortunately their form of remediation was to cite their ability to repair it to 'satisfactory' (as determined by THEM) conditions, and offer no refund (whether full or partial) for the expensive item.

I used this company to move back in late 2021. They were on time, and moved our stuff with care. We tipped accordingly as we were very satisfied. Once I unpacked all boxes I noticed the box I had stupidly marked had jewelry was missing. I've waited over 2 years to clear out a storage unit and search as much as possible. I have yet to find said box containing so much of my jewelry that I hold dear (especially those given to me by my husband and ones i wore for my wedding). Go figure.

Hired this company last year and they sent two boys who were probably fresh out of high school to move my expensive furniture. They did a very sloppy move. They clearly dropped my furniture moving it at some point either down to their truck or up to the apartment. The buildings even have elevators.

What a clusterfurniture! These movers tried to charge $900 to move two pieces of furniture. My coworker and I split the cost between two cards. Easy enough — or so we thought. Instead, they charged my card for the full amount and charged my coworker’s card for her share anyway. Sorting this out felt like arguing with a Magic 8 Ball — every answer was vague and still wrong. I spoke to Person #1, who promised they’d refund my card and insisted my coworker’s card hadn’t been charged. Wrong on both counts.

Quoted me $350 higher than competition for a sparsely furnished 1 bedroom apartment. When I mentioned that the $725 to move my 1 bedroom apartment that didn't contain a couch, night stand, any appliances, etc. (really just a bed, computer desk and a few boxes) was too high, Dan acted like a petulant child. Unprofessional and over priced. I can't believe they have such high reviews. I found another company that moved me for half the cost.

Please don't use this company. They were left unsupervised and stole multiple items from my apartment. They also hastily packed my items and in doing so damaged multiple clothing items and 2 pieces of expensive electronics. I've tried multiple times to get any kind of resolution or even explanation from both owners. Dan Gilbertson has yelled obscenities and hung up on me twice now. Beware of this company.
