If I could give F & P Transport Movers a review of -ZERO, I WOULD!! This company was sub-contracted to handle the Maryland state-side move of a relocation from Indiana in late June. My Indiana side was handled by Colt Moving - Wildcat Van Lines, and was completed with care and expertise. The second part in Maryland was where my nightmare began and ended as an absolute horror show.
SCAM ALERT. Slow workers, late, brought a uhaul that was too small with 2 guys (and a single dolly), broke a piece of furniture, charged way over their quote and forced payment holding my stuff hostage.. In Maryland, quotes from home goods movers are legally binding, and holding stuff hostage for payment is illegal. If this happens to you, reach out to the MD Attorney General’s office, they have resources for you.
Whatever you do- AVOID THIS COMPANY. I was deliberately lied to. The movers broke my dresser (yes, I understand accidents happen) and instead of telling me, they tried to hide it by taping it together on the inside to cover it up. Don’t even bother contacting the owner, he’ll just ignore you. F&P is a pathetic excuse of a moving company.
DON’T USE THIS COMPANY. On Friday 7/18 we hired them to help us move 2 miles away. We called the day before to ensure they would be able to handle all that we had and that they would bring a large enough truck. They brought a smaller truck …

F an P movers communicated well, prompt and timely. They were respectful and worked tirelessly to complete the job of 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bath. Care was taken with furniture and fragile pieces. The owner was great at staying in touch and keeping everything moving throughout the process. Highly recommend F and P movers.
Really appreciate the great work the F & P team did. The team is friendly and professional and that was apparent from the first phone call to even just get information. I am in the process of home renovations and had to have various items moved, and because of back problems, I’m not able to move the items myself. They quickly explained the process, their rates, and followed up via text with confirmation.
