Would not recommend. I was scheduled for 3 and they showed up at 1, which was inconvenient, but I get that I should have been finished packing, so not a big deal. I was finishing packing as they started moving stuff, and they grabbed boxes and basically wasted them. In one box, they only packed two reusable grocery bags and a beanie, then taped it shut and took it (boxes I needed, mind you).
Im changing my review last year your service was great this 2nd time wasn't well. The drivers tried to charge me more than quoted. It took longer than. Expected because there wasn't time management. It doesn't take 2 people to set set up.a bed frame The intent was to take longer . End result to charge more. Erika and I will never use you again.

We chose this company based on the outstanding reviews. I only see two negative reviews other than the one I am about to leave, and unfortunately, I had the same experience as them. The movers were a little late, which wasn't a big deal, but it took them an unbelievable amount of time to move us and we did not have much to move. They even said, "This is all?" when they first looked at everything, so it really felt like they were just trying to run the clock to make more money.

I really cannot recommend Fat and Skinny. They moved me on July 12. They irreparably damaged not only 4 major pieces of furniture (not including the lack of wrapping a lot of smaller pieces scratching them up completely), they also damaged the apartment i was moving out of AND into. They took apart the bed frame, then put it back together incorrectly. Despite the fact i hired 4 movers and communicated to their reception admin staff how much stuff i had, they came in a truck much too small.
**BUSINESS RESPONSE IS A LIE. I was told I could only get a PARTIAL refund if I removed my original review and signed a paper. They were very rude and I would never use them again after my experience. Don't let the stars fool you. This company uses predatory tactics to hide their mistakes. After a simple move was intentionally dragged out to 4+ hours (forcing me to pay for wasted time), I posted a negative review.

I had a very disappointing experience with Fat and Skinny Movers. The workers were careless and did not handle my belongings properly. They dragged out the job unnecessarily, wasting time and driving very slowly between locations. One of the movers even appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, which was extremely unprofessional. In addition, they spoke in an aggressive manner in a language I could not understand, which made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe about the security of my things.
We don’t have any client by the name of John in our records. The review is 100% false. We don’t know what you are trying to achieve with this review. We also don't understand where you got these photos.
They showed up on time, but then took an extremely long time to move my items. With being charged an hourly rate it felt like they were going slow on purpose. A 1 bedroom apartment move should not take 6 hours.

We have used Fat & Skinny Movers 3 times from June 1, 2023 to June 27, 2023. That says A LOT! Responsive, on time, hard working, careful, conscientious & friendly. Dima & Andrei were awesome & Mitry was great too-I appreciate their work ethic. Wonderful moving company! I initially entered my information online about 1 week before my move date. The owner Dimitry called me back within 15 minutes of me entering my information on their website. I was able to book a full move within 10 mins. On moving day, today actually, one of the movers texted me and gave me an exact ETA and kept me up to date on their arrival. Once at my old building, they quickly surveyed my belongings and got straight to work.
