HORRIBLE experience. Movers showed up WITHOUT masks during Covid after being assured by the booking agent they were taking every precaution. Lead mover said it would take double the amount of time that it has ever taken to move my 1 bedroom apartment I have moved countless times in the past years due to work relocations. The booking agent called me to discuss and I said I had no other option now and was happy to pay but would like to see where we were at 3/4 hours.
Broke my coffee tables glass I think the movers themselves were professional and otherwise good but a little slow. Overall I would have given a much higher rating if my stuff was handled with more care.knowing fragility of the glass they should have taken more precautions I have moved across country and locally and didnot experience it breaking prior when handled with care . They did reimburse me $100 for it. But I would still like to have not gone through it. As I am not sure if I can find a replacement for it!

Very dissappointed in this company. I was helping my daughter who has a medically fragile 12-year old daughter, in trying to get her family moved. Everything was packed up in the Garage, ready to go. The refrigerator, washer, dryer, and couch were all on main level. The first quote I was given for around $500 with 3 guys doing the move. After my daughter send pictures per their instructions, the estimate jumped to $800. We dealt with Kay, who advised us her Manager gave her the new quote.

Had a really bad experience with Redondo location. The least efficient, least skilled, least professional movers I’ve had the misfortune of working with. Do your homework and make sure if you are reading reviews you get the actual movers people rave about. What service I received was shameful.
Chris at 5 Star Moving was extremely disrespectful on the phone and hung up on me. He showed zero professional curtesy or respect. This showed me very clearly that I do not want a moving company that allows employees to treat potential customers like this handling my personal items.

We needed a family heirloom handmade wood hutch moved. Care in handling was the primary goal when selecting a moving company. Five Star Moving and Storage succeeded above and beyond. After handlers Cruz and Greg made their introductions, they both went immediately to the piece and started discussing their strategy for disassembly, wrapping and moving. The furniture piece weighed around 300 pounds so it wasn't a light piece to work with.

5 Star Moving has been our go-to moving company, and we couldn't be happier with their service. We've used their team for multiple moves while gradually moving into our new home, and they have made every move completely stress-free.
