This is by far the most unprofessional moving company I have ever worked with. First, the day of the move the guys showed up 4 hours late as we waited in the rain for them to arrive. Secondly, the guys damaged our walls with massive holes that we had to have repaired. Lastly, they damaged my restoration hardware table that they refused to replace via insurance and argued with me over it. This is a super shady company. DO NOT TRUST them with your move.
We are very sorry to hear this! We work really hard to make sure that everyone is satisfied with their moving experience. To clear a few things up from your post - Your move was about 1700 miles of traveling. And in this 25 hour trip, not one piece of furniture was physically damaged.
Had a 10am move. By 11am I was calling. NO answer. Found another # for them & they guy said Bobby moved us to afternoon okay so 1 more hour...yes. an hour passed no crew, no call, no move. Literally sitting & waiting all packed & ready. Started calling other places by 1pm and even still no word from fixedratemovers!!! I was soooo undone. My hubby leaving for a business trip next day & I have to deal with all this by myself. We moved as much as we could in our car...smh...
Hello, we sincerely apologize for your experience. Unfortunately the 'very small' 1 bedroom job in front of you was not as they said. We did give you a new estimated time in the afternoon, and also set-up (at a 2-man rate) 2 moving trucks and 5 guys to all combine on your job to knock it out as…

Hello, we are sorry you feel this way! We would like to clear up some untruths about your review. Firstly, you were not present on this load. Your grandfather was the one directing on what to load as you were in another state.
Very disappointed in the quality of service provided to my son. A quote was given by Bobby, telling my son everything would be shrink wrapped for his move. The two movers showed up with nothing to wrap his items on a day when it was raining torentially. His sofa was drenched and we had to dry off all his wood furniture in hopes it wouldn't warp. They brought no tools to take apart his dining room table but assured him they would come back later and take care of the table.
Hello, We are very sorry for your experience. We are confused on the the rating as your son, the person we moved, gave are guys 5 stars and specifically stated they did an excellent job. This was a day of extreme way, and we do everything we can to keep items dry.
The night of my move, my home was robbed. The police investigated and told me that one of my movers was responsible. I called the owner of this company, and he told me that he knew which employee was responsible because the mover had been involved in another theft. The owner said he had "red-flagged" the employee, but the he'd allow that mover to continue working while the police gathered evidence. Do not use this company.
Dear Kelly, My name is Jeff Byers and I am the owner of Fixed Rate Moving, Inc. We are asking that you please verify that you have in fact reviewed the correct moving company! To our recollection and knowledge we have never moved anyone by the name of Kelly Smith.
Two nice gentlemen moved furniture from store to home. Broke a leg from under a piece, mover admitted and apologized. When informed their manager, he said it was furniture companies fault. I informed him of employees recognition. He replied with they would repair. Then realized they set up bed frame incorrectly.. Definitely will not use again .
Very unprofessional. Cursing in the front yard. Not careful with any of our things. Broke 2 desks, broke the glass out of entertainment center, broke a whole box of dishes. Showed up an hour late. We basically had to oversee them the entire time because they would not move everything. Horrible experience!!

Moved Little Rock-Fayetteville. Haphazard and negligent packers. Legs broken off furniture, legit antique art-deco table broken, belongings literally thrown into the truck. Worst move in a long lifetime. Strongly recommend against.
We are sorry you feel this way! We do not want anyone to be dissatisfied with our service. Your leg that was 'broken' off was repaired on-site with no noticeable difference. This simply required us replacing the old screw with a new one.

Fixed Rate Moving was able to help us with a long distance move. Jeff was very helpful in getting us set up. The invoice was sent and payable online which was great since we were not in Arkansas. The movers were prompt on arrival time and very polite and communicated with us well. We sat back and relaxed while they loaded. They wrapped any furniture that needed it. Took excellent care of my grandmothers dresser which was really heavy. The same customer service while unloading at our final destination.
Great moving service! I ordered them for loading up a Uhaul and they called me before arriving, arrived on time, loaded up everything very quickly. It was a good price and professional. Would highly recommend.
I cannot say enough good things about Fixed Rate Movers! From start to finish, Jaleel, Patrick, Carlos, and Preston were absolutely outstanding. What impressed me most was their incredible work ethic combined with genuinely positive attitudes. These guys worked at an impressive pace without ever cutting corners or seeming stressed. They maintained high energy and great morale throughout the entire move, which made what could have been a stressful day actually enjoyable.

I used this company to move my family from Arkansas to Illinois and had an awesome experience. The pricing was reasonable. I was always able to get someone on the phone or email to discuss the details of the move which I appreciated since I was moving two houses at once. I've used other companies and sometime communication can be poor. The company also handled my packing and two vehicle transports and they did a really good job. There were a few mislabeled or disorganized boxes but nothing major.
