Please DO NOT be fooled by Focus Movers’ website or pictures. Focus Movers is completely UNPROFESSIONAL, LAZY and UNSKILLED! First of all, they did not call my family to confirm the moving appointment, we had to contact them. Nor did they bring adequate tools or supplies, on top of which, they showed up late and appeared uninterested and disoriented.

The company was able to fit me into their busy schedule really fast and I appreciate that. On the other had during the moving process the movers had to do something extra in order to get my piece of equipment into the house. It was not a difficult task. I was on FaceTime as they were moving the equipment. After my Father-in-law explain to them that it was ok for them to take the equipment out of the bag, one of the movers yelled out loud. “That’s going to be an extra cost”.

HORRIBLE experience all around!!! About a half hour after my scheduled time I get a phone call from the crew stating they couldn't find my address, come to find out the text the office sent to the guys was "autocorrected" and my street name was changed. The office then called me to explain they would be about 45 minutes, no apology nothing but a "yup it happens". When the guys finally do arrive everything was broken down and moved into the truck in about an hour and a half.

Please start off by getting a contract with Focus Movers so you know exactly what you’re getting yourself into. I was originally quoted a $100 an hour rate for two guys. I had a bedroom set, a dinette, a crib and some boxes. However, I called back before the move to confirm, and it was suggested that I get three guys instead. I agreed, but was never told that the rate changed with the third guy. When the movers got there two of the three men did a pretty fast and efficient job but the third guy did very little.

Overpriced and didn't complete the job I was quoted for. Reply: There was a misunderstanding when I was on the phone that we never resolved before you started working. My main priority was moving the couch and bed, but I also asked for help with everything else and the guy said it was a flat rate. I do appreciate you coming out last minute but I still maintain that I overpaid for what you guys did.

On the call stating service time you said between 3-630p. When I called stating take your time. I said between 4p or 5p. You stated the guy would call when in route. You didn't state 30 minutes out. Even with me stating take your time. At 614pm still no call. You stated with 3 movers it may take 4-6 hours. Arriving to move me 7pm at night times 4 hours would put the completion at 11pm. When did you think I would unpack? You kept repeating the same thing.

Rodney Lee ( Who is also the owner of Rodney's Allaround movers) and his guys showed up 8 HOURS late with only 2 guys when the contract stated 3 guys.

Terrible experience. Rude workers who made the entire experience so much more stressful than it needed to be. Movers used my bathroom without washing their hands before handling my things, were generally rude towards me, insisted on dismantling things, then not securing them so they would be lost in the move, mishandled items despite my asking them to carry MY THINGS a certain way, general unprofessional conduct.
