Spent over $2100 and didn’t get the services that was contracted. Took 2 days because they over booked. We had a few pieces of furniture broken and that has been a nightmare dealing with their insurance. They pay .60cents per pound and that is nothing for replacing the things that were damaged.

They quoted 3 men at $189/hr. then charged $169/hr. after all loaded for the 2 men that showed up, that they would only reduce to $159 (math says should be $127). Then they add a 13% fuel surcharge on the total time truck sat parked, and cost for the 2 men taking way longer. Paid almost double the estimate for moving to 2BR one level apt., and they wouldn't adjust their exorbitant overcharge. The guys were good except one staying in truck half the time. Don't use them unless you are ready to be way overcharged.

Some items were poorly packaged, vase, lamp shades, causing damage. A patio item disappeared. Fox is taking no responsibility as we moved into a storage unit. I had a difficult time getting any response from the company on this. I would not recommend this moving company.
We used this company to move our piano in 2020. The piano needed to be moved again. We spoke on the phone with a rep (who was clearly not local from a larger hub), gave specifics of the move, including how many steps the house has, and was told we would be contacted about a time. We got a call in the morning and were given 40 minutes notice. The crew arrived, not dressed for heavy lifting, did not have proper equipment, and said they weren’t sure how to move the piano.
We are a locally owned company in East Tennessee with locations in Kingsport and Knoxville. From the initial phone call when booking your move the amount of steps at each location was not disclosed to our sales rep.
We hired this company to move us from one apartment building to the next building over . We had more boxes than anything. Three guys come and our apartment was one first floor . It took them almost four hours to get our stuff from apartment to their truck no steps at all at first apartment. Then our new apartment that was just next building over we was moving to third floor . It took them four hours to get stuff to third floor witch had steps .
We apologize you are disappointed with our service. You were charged for 5.5 hours of service totaling $863.88. We will take your criticism constructively and look to improve our service.
Our daughter hired Fox Moving (Chattanooga office) to move her out of her apartment. The movers were scheduled for the afternoon on 1/3/26. We rented our own U-Haul truck since she was moving out of state and we were driving it back to Georgia. Around 12:30 PM on 1/3/26, she called to ask for a time estimate for when the movers would arrive. The office told her they would call when they were on their way. About 20 minutes later, Fox Moving called and told her they didn't have a crew for her.
