We urge prospective customers to avoid Frank and Sons. On May 22, 2026, Frank and Sons moved our possessions from one house to another within the City of Estero. Unfortunately, some furniture was damaged during the move, largely due to an inexperienced crew. We were subsequently promised by Joe and Darian of Frank and Sons that they would "make it right" and resolve the issue. However, after several follow-up calls to them all we got was lip service and delays without any offer to compensate for the damage.
Edit: finally spoke with the manager. This issue was never resolved. This is a family-run business. I told the manager about the woman who had mis-quoted me and who was incredibly offensive and rude to me on the phone. She is the managers sister and he refused to listen to my frustrations. I hope things have changed. I’ve never dealt with such an unethical business in my life. I truly wish this move went better. We were referred by a friend and had an awful customer service issue.

I used Al’s to move furniture from my sister’s condo to The Palms in Ft Myers on the recommendation of The Palms. The move went ok. Scott and Al seem like nice people. They did damage one leather chair, but I let that slide. Move was 10 miles and took about 3 hours. My sister had to be located with in The Palms complex, a move from the 3rd floor to the first. I could be there for the move, which proved to be a big mistake. They had more people, moved less furniture and charged the same amount.

I called a month in advance for a moving on 5/31/21. Got a quote, they asked for pictures. They said the date was open. I did not hear from them and no contract, so I called them Only to find out yesterday, 5/8 that "Sorry, we are booked. That is not professional, I now have to rush and find some other company. I am helping My daughter, a single mother of two who have to move that day. Not cool. And they had good reviews. So sad and disappointed. Good luck to you all.
The property manager hired this company and we will never use them again. Showed up late without proper equipment or supplies. Ran out of boxes. Guys were slow, careless and unprofessional. Hard to communicate as a couple of them did not speak English well. What I did hear was them complaining about working and not getting paid on time. Wonder what's going on there?? Again unprofessional. We will never use them and suggest you dont either.
Terrible service via phone--old woman with raspy smokers voice and no phone etiquette wanted nothing to do with a quote, asked my moving date first and was quick to tell me she had nothing until 5 days after with no follow up or offer to call if anyone cancels etc. This company had good reviews and was a promising option but lost this sale based on that call.
Sorry you feel that way and you were asked date first, The truth is that is our policy. First question what day are you moving - then we know if we service you properly. We are already booked out 2-4 weeks in advance.
WORST BUSINESS EVER! They quoted a price, sent the contract, loaded half the truck and after 5 hours they texted their workers to unload. Won't even call me to say why. A Mgr came to help unload and said apparently they bid the job too low. No one will call me back. We close tomorrow and here we sit!
$463 quote to move 1 bed, 2 couches, TV, TV stand and 2 coffee tables from Cape coral to Ft Myers...seriously? I'll pass
I'm truly sorry you felt our price was to high. Its your budget and truly unfair that you rated us and never used our services. I truly hope the public can see the wrong. " Trucks, 3 men making good pay, worker comp, truck insurance, general liability, and cargo coverage is not free to me. Sorry !

After two amazing moving experiences (5 months apart) that we had with Frank and Sons, I found their website to write this review. They moved my savvy and feisty 82 year old mom who is on her own 2 times in 5 months. From planning - packing - moving - to re-assembling the furniture, Frank and Sons was responsive, courteous, arrived on time, patient, gentle, and very communicative and efficient. We received an A+ score from the apartment company stating that there was 0 damage to the unit from the move.

We recently found it necessary to move my sister from one assisted living facility to another and since we live out of state we’re unsure who to trust to facilitate this move. I needed a hot tub I purchased on FB marketplace moved to my place from about 2 hrs away. It had to be picked up the next day which gave me little time to find a mover. I called several places and received quotes from 4 other companies. Many places didn't even return my call. Joe from Frank and Sons Moving called me back before I even finished leaving a message. He got straight to the point finding out where it was coming from and if it was easily accessible.
