Horrible Experience. They were about 2 weeks delayed with our move from Florida to Washington. The delivery arrived at 11:00pm and we had to help to unload the truck. We have a few missing boxes and our contact Alfredo at this company refuses to help and give us any answers. We also brought a piano and it was damaged by the moves while unloading. Super unprofessional and unresponsive team members. Avoid at all cost.

SGL Moving Review MOVER BEWARE!! I regret ever asking SGL moving company to do the loading of my furniture and other items for my trip from Florida to Tennessee. It was the worse mistake. I selected them because of the A+ designation on Better Business Bureau. Ricky the owner, promised more than he could deliver and took much longer (8 hours) than the initially promised (five hours) to complete the loading process.
To claim that we overcharged a customer simply because they had a luxury car in the driveway is utterly absurd. However, since this accusation has been brought up, it is important to note that the customer, who owns such a vehicle and even a grand piano, simply telling you the type of furniture we…

From start to finish SGL Moving Service was impeccable. When I called to inquire about rates and availability Ricky answered all of questions on the spot. He was able to schedule my move very quickly and accommodated my scheduling needs. The moving crew (Jaylen and Jack) kept me updated on their arrival times at both houses. They were extremely professional and went the extra mile to make my moving day the best day it could be. They took care with all of my belonging to make sure they were not damaged or soiled.
What a beautiful review you have left us Elizabeth. All of my guys work hard to make this company successful. Even when driving your items from Fort Myers to Saint Petersburg, we finish with the same energy that we start off in. I really hope to hear from you!
SGL packed, loaded and moved us; we couldn't be more pleased with the quality and value of the work. Ricky Burgos is an excellent team leader and the 4 person crew worked together seamlessly to move heavy items down a flight of stairs, into the truck and into our new house. It was a big job that ran late into the night but they never rushed or complained. The entire team was respectful and professional. They worked at a steady pace, always careful to avoid damaging the furniture or the walls of the house.
We have lived in Fort Myers for 10 years, originally from Cincinnati, and I’m so glad we found this company, it reminded us of how moving companies are up north. They were go getters who were fast and professional, very personable and I know I didn’t have to overpay for a moving service. I highly recommend this company, so down to earth and great pricing and they do a great job. Thank you so much!

I had a very bad experience with a truck rental company. Rick and his son really made my day when they arrived to remove all household items from the broken down truck to another. They really cared about not damaging anything. They were both very courteous, polite, professional. They went above and beyond what was expected. I had items that needed to stay at my residence and the remainder to stay on the truck. I initially was told it would be one or the other.
