In their own words
The moving experience was absolutely horrendous. This group of individuals that came to our house were not only incompetent but also of questionable character. We have missing items from cardboard boxes and plastic containers. It’s truly disgusting. The one named Vlad was not pleasant to work with from the moment he stepped into our house. At one point I asked him to reposition a painting from lying flat to vertical, and his response was dismissive, and he chose to ignore my request. That painting was damaged.

I believed everything went well at first and gave them a five star rating. I am now changing my rating to 1 star after finding my marble side table broken. I contacted the company and they offered to send their repair man to my house to fix the table. They also informed me that the team thought it was a lamp and did not realize it was broken and thought it was designed to be in two pieces 🙁. When they took it out of my home, it was in one piece so how did you think it was designed to be two separate pieces???
We’re sorry to hear you still feel this way, but we do believe this current review strongly contradicts the original 5-star review you left immediately after the move, where you specifically mentioned that the team did a great job and that you were very satisfied with their work.
RESPONDING TO LIES FROM OWNER The response is full of flagrant and attempts to shift blame instead of taking responsibility. That’s deeply disappointing. Both the owner and the manager came to our home and met us in person. They know exactly who we are, good, honest people simply looking for professionals to handle our move. We have absolutely no reason to misrepresent what happened. What we experienced does not match the “professional service” you’re describing.

Freedom Movers did an amazing job with my two-bedroom apartment move in Oakland. From the first phone call to the final box, everything was handled professionally and efficiently.
