Difficult to rent unit when I moved in as this location was “between managers” meaning absolutely no human available. Locked office & no mention that you could not buy a lock there as office was unmanned. The term of my rental was numerous employee changes at this location. At move out I was asked to leave a review, I advised I would leave a review after I received my refund on deposit after cleaning out & sweeping my unit. It’s been over 90 days & no refund.

I had a unit in this facility since 2013 till now 2022. Most of that time it was Metro Storage and I never had a problem, but some time in the last couple of years FreeUp bought it. Since then I've had nothing but frustrations. They corporatized everything to where if you call the local number you are forwarded to a call center with people who don't speak very good english. Getting to talk to the local person is an act of God.

Unit was robbed. Freeup insurance didn’t pay their insurance premiums. I paid for insurance that didn’t exist. They will not return calls. There insurance company says they will not pay because premiums have not been payed since February.
Property in Longview TX. (NEGATIVE STAR) Old, run down, bad ground grading makes it difficult to unload on uneven access to dirty stained unit. Doors are not easy to roll open and are not sealed to weather and easy to break into. PASS

rented this place because price was less than other facilities. the place is a little run down, but seemed ok. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE GOOD PERSONAL INSURANCE SPECIFICALLY FOR RENTAL UNITS!!!! Their roof leaked ruining my family heirloom …
