**Would not recommend! Unresponsive and unprofessional owners. Wife is RUDE!! Not how a former US Marine should conduct business.** We used the Dorsey’s company on a move from the DFW area to the East Texas area. After speaking with Elijah the owner, setting a moving date, and going over in detail everything we needed to move, they showed up with a truck too small. A U-Haul had to be rented to complete the job, taking much longer than planned and throwing us back a day on moving into our new home.
I take accountability for this job that less than satisfactory. I underestimated the items that needed to be moved and therefore I sent the wrong equipment for the job.
Do not believe the Google reviews. Go look at Yelp! I would not recommend Red Carpet Moving. The movers were not careful with our belongings and home, constantly banging into walls and doorways throughout the entire move. They charge on an hourly basis but took their time on the move. Although we live in a typical 3 bedroom, 2 bath house, they were still unable to fit all of our belongings in their truck. We had to move the remainder of our belongings ourselves.

The crew of 4 were cool guys. I requested 2 trucks because I knew we had a lot. I was assured I'd get two trucks. One truck came... Towards the end of the move we had to rent a UHaul. I got charged $275 for it, still didn't have enough room. Wife and I were left behind in the beating sun cramming everything else in our own truck for an hour. They didn't bother wrapping mattresses so we now have stains all over them from their dirt in the truck and sweat from the crew. They dented our stainless steal refrigerator.
I can't complain about the service. The crew showed up on time, was respectful and quick. The problem I had was the driver backed into my vehicle and now I can't get in touch with Elijah to resolve the problem. I've left multiple voicemails and called two different numbers. That is not the appropriate course of action for this situation. He lacks in integrity, so anyone that is considering using this company think twice.
We have since then taken care of the situation for Marti.
Do not waste your money on this moving company. First, they were a hour late just to start off. Then they did not put my king size bed together correctly at the place I moved to, so one side the mattress is on the ground. They left 2 glass …

Did an awesome job! They were fast took a little bit under 2 hours to do. Very fast and hard working they disassembled and reassembled everything they took apart.
