I never write reviews especially bad ones but this one takes the cake. Some hiccups you can over look like things breaking. I’ve moved 20 times and sometimes things break. Never have I had anything stolen though. My mother scheduled fresh start mover off a recommendation from our realtor and rico the owner gave us a discount because we’re a military family but his movers broke our tv and stole my late father’s pistol. We didn’t want to blame anyone until we opened every box.
They gave the facade of being military accommodating. However, I was set to meet them at the gate at 2pm, and through trying to talk to the owner multiple times and him not answering and his team not being at the gate at the same time, I was perplexed until he said his team would show up at 530pm. Nearly 4 hours later. I talked to him at the end of the day and he acknowledged if I was the person who showed up hours late, I’d have to pay per hour.
As a realtor, I trusted Fresh Start Moving Company enough to refer my clients to them — and that was a huge mistake. During a recent move, my backpack with jewelry were stolen! Extremely disappointing and embarrassing after putting my reputation on the line recommending this company. I will never refer another client to them again.
I was referred to this company. They were 2+ hours late and attempted to leave many items behind. They caused multiple thousands of dollars worth of furniture damages. I disputed the moving charges with my bank but that doesn't cover the furniture damages that I have continued to find.
We scheduled our move 1 week and a half in advance and had to put down a deposit. Our time slot was for 8am, and didn’t get a confirmation email until 8:10 am the day of our move! We called the number listed multiple times, and it goes …

I cannot say enough good things about Angel, Alex, Ethan, and DJ. They were incredibly professional, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire moving process. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make sure every piece of furniture was carefully wrapped, protected, and handled with care. They took the time to disassemble furniture when needed and put everything back together perfectly at the new location.
We had the best team with Luis, JP, Angel, & James. They were on time, super communicative, handled our belongings with care, and overall made this moving process a breeze. Will absolutely hire again if we ever need to move and will absolutely recommend to locals.
I had an amazing moving experience with Angel, Alex, Angelo, Aaron, James and Matthew. They were polite, efficient , accommodating and took great care in wrapping my furniture. I cant express enough how much I appreciate each and every one of them. They worked hard all day wrapping and loading furniture and into the evening unloading and uncovering my furniture and put everything where I wanted it. I must say I have some heavy furniture and never had one complaint.
I had such an incredible experience with Fresh Start Moving Company! Highly recommend using them for your next move! Elias, Matt, Luis, and Bryan were efficient, friendly, and worked thoroughly to get all of my items packed for my move. They carefully wrapped the large pieces of furniture to prevent any damage, ensured that all small items were carefully wrapped and put in boxes, and quickly - but carefully - unloaded all of my items at my new house.
