I have never worked with a company as unprofessional as George Moving. Probably the worst company I have ever dealt with. I had the worst moving experience EVER! I listed my high value items weeks ahead of time to take extra precaution when moving, the movers were never given this information. They broke my curio and lied about it and said they told me when it happened. They took my high value vintage hummels and crystal crashing down 3 steps on a dolly instead if carrying them. They scuffed up my hot tub and bar.
We apologize once corporate assigns a claim adjuster we will follow up with you.
I would not recommend George Moving & Storage. I’ve used professional movers for three separate moves, and I understand that things occasionally get damaged. My issue isn’t that damage occurred. It is how difficult George Moving & Storage made the claims process afterward. Our exercise bike was functioning before the move and was not functioning properly afterward.

Worst experience ever. Wish I could give negative stars!!!!! I purchased furniture from a well-known company in the Texas area and had it shipped to a Pennsylvania location. That company used a long-haul delivery service, which then transferred the furniture to George’s Moving Service for final delivery. That’s where everything went wrong. The woman who answers the phone to schedule deliveries is incredibly rude and unprofessional.

The guys were nice as far as to communication goes. They did an awful job taking care of my stuff. I had sold most of my furniture so they had not much to move They have damaged all of my stuff. This is uncalled for. They are a moving company They should know how to protect it. They took stuff apart and then they couldn’t remember to put it together. Scratched my furniture, lost a cab to a sofa., ribbed several pieces of furniture, dents on furniture and dropped stuffed and never acknowledged they did.

Worst move ever!!! Do NOT use! I grew up in the military and this by far was the worst moving experience. We moved locally and nearly all of our furniture was damaged. They will not take responsibility for any of the damages or help get the pieces repaired. The first piece of furniture they moved was a dresser, and as they were bringing it downstairs drawers were flying out banging into the walls. A leg was broken off a $3000 Arhaus buffet. We have holes in our walls. I could go on and on about the damages.
I REACHED OUT TO THIS COMAPNY, and would not recommend! I spoke with a nice gentleman “JAY” then spoke with the “vice president Rebecca, and oh how rude she was!!! Not a simple how are you, nothing. She literally told me “that information is not useful” in regards to what I was providing her, before I could even get the sentence out.

George Moving & Storage was amazing. We moved 11 minutes away but had a 9 day gap between homes. The crew showed up on time, they were super respectful and kind and made me feel comfortable. Sam Paul and our third mover (so sorry I forget his name!) were incredible. Very very professional. They handle our items with care. Chris who helped me with billing was great on the phone. Paul was our sales manager, all super communicative! Would recommend for a residential move 100%!

Amazing experience from start to finish. My home was moved 700miles and nothing was damaged. Every worker we interacted with was very professional and hardworking. You cannot do it better yourself! Highly recommend.

This was the moving company of choice and arranged by my employer who was providing a moving stipend. It was a great experience. The overall process was very smooth and they were willing to answer any and all questions I had. It was a two day move, one for pick up and the following day for delivery as we went ~4 hours across the state.
