The place we were moving into recommended him. When I called him to originally schedule a meeting, he was very rude to me. He kept talking over and interrupting me. My fiancé had a totally different experience with him. When my fiancé described his conversation with George later, it sounded like he spoke to a completely different person. Ladies, make of that what you will. His written communication when he emailed us was like a second grader. This did not inspire confidence in me using his company.
********Update, to prove me right, this was the text I received, which is not ok, after I posted my true review. "I will take court for false review if don’t take down it customer like you try destroy business." ******** Very unprofessional on the phone. Unhelpful and rude.
I have to remember the customer is always right in this case I fail to do so. Also, we never provide moving service for this customer at all which lead to google red flag us. I will communicate better with all my customer moving forward.
So argumentative and condescending. I tried to book with them and it was a nightmare. I have my belongings in a storage unit, but the owner insisted he had no idea what size truck to use without a walk through to see the everything. Even after I gave him the storage unit size and a picture of my things in it, he argued with me about the number of bedrooms he thought my apartment was based on the size (which was different than the actual number of bedrooms), and what I own (not sure why he thinks he knows more…
George is a poor communicator and the contract he makes you sign is full of typos and errors. Go with a legit moving company instead, just in case the contract is actually needed

I had to move my fiancé into a new apartment a month before our wedding just to give some detail of the time crunch and the stress already present. I contacted this company and they helped me tremendously. 1. George had a set price that he could’ve quoted me but he came out to the old apartment to give me the most fair price. (Which was more inexpensive and a better value) 2.
I found a vintage curio cabinet from an estate sale that I needed moved to my home from the seller’s residence. The curio is all glass with only brass framing. It stands 7 feet tall and 3 feet wide. On a whim, I bought the curio with the assumption that a mover I’ve used many times in the past would be able to move it for me. Once I showed the previous mover photos, they declined due to the high value of the curio and the insurance liability. I was then on the hunt to find a new mover who could handle the task.
I am very happy with the service provided during the recent move of my three-bedroom home. The first thing that stood out to me was the company's detailed and informative website. After filling out the inquiry form, I quickly received a call from the owner, George. He was professional, courteous, and provided a very reasonable quote. On moving day, five movers arrived right on time.
I saw an ad for George's Moving and Cleaning Company on Facebook just as we were looking for movers to move us to a new apartment. George came out to our apartment to evaluate the scope of the move and give us an estimate. He was friendly and professional, told us exactly what the company would do, and gave us an all-inclusive estimate. No other company would do this - they all gave hourly estimates over the phone, basing the estimate on a brief overview of the furniture.
