WORST!! experience of my life!!!! Refused to move a Fridge from the Garage to my New basement apartment, they agreed to move to apartment but to move it down 7 steps he wanted $45.00 dollars, Felice the move contact from Get Movers told me too ask the move team to include the $45 , he refused, he asked for full payment or he would leave, at this point half of my furniture is in the apartment, after 45 min had passed and nothing else brought in!!!
I appreciated the movers and how careful they were with things but the system is scammy. They quoted me for only 3 hrs which I should have known was not enough time based on past moves but the locations were close so I was hopeful. The whole ordeal took 5.75 hrs which was expensive for the added time. They will stop working 1 hr before they think they will finish until you pay in full for the additional time and additionals they have added and the office didnt respond to me quick enough to be able to deal with the…
Took all day and cost $1500 to move 5 appliances (they didn’t know how to move dishwasher so I had to leave it behind), 1 bedroom, sofa and tv. One mover walked around with his hands in his pockets all day and didn’t even speak a word of English. The other mover complained every time I asked him to bring a box to a room. Complained he didn’t get enough breaks which he charged me 30 minutes of time for. Bullied me into a tip and then complained it wasn’t enough.

After receiving a very misleading quote and description of their capabilities, we're left wishing we had selected another company for our recent move. We were very clear in describing what we needed moved. We were quoted $1200. After a pleasant, but slow moving crew finished the job, we were charged ~$2000 and our antique family piano took minor damage. The movers were set on wrapping every last item in layers and layers of tape which was not necessary and prolonged the span of our move by hours.
I hired Get Movers for a commercial move, and the experience was incredibly disappointing. I asked if they could remove some shelves and the TV/mounts, and they confirmed it would be no problem. However, they ripped the shelves off the wall without even using a screwdriver, leaving significant damage behind. I had assured the new owners that the walls would be in great shape, so I was extremely upset to see the condition they left them in.
That was a disaster… If you can’t make a commitment, so don’t place an order. Moving process is not the same as ordering pizza, it should be done at specific day and time! Absolutely irresponsible company! My experience: 1) Movers were supposed to come between 2-3pm 2) At 3 pm we were informed that they are running late and will come at 4pm 3) Once we called for updates, they told us that there’s a truck issue, but they are working on it. 4) At 5pm we called again and they advised that they might not come today….
