I have used Taylor Moving & Storage for previous moves and thought why not store my belongings for the year while I decided what to do with our many household items, etc. We had downsized and were undecided about our next move. I declined their insurance because my home policy had insurance for storage etc. So 14 months later, I arrange to have crates opened and start to empty contents. Items are filthy (black dust/dirt) everywhere and items proved to be damaged.
Edit: AVOID using this company to move. We moved to Dubai on December 31st LAST YEAR. Our furniture has still not arrived. This is now going on 5 months. The ship was supposed to arrive weeks before the war began, if it had arrived on time there would be no excuses. Unfortunately that did not happen so there were some delays (understandable).
We are sorry that you feel the shipment is taking too long and that there is a war in the Middle East. Obviously the war has caused congestion to the ports and the cargo ship is just now able to start to the port. … More
By far the worst movers possible, pay extra and get proper professional movers. ZERO STARS I can not emphasize how unprofessional these people are. Their crew could be just any random person off the street by the way they operate. First off the packers packed and lost so many things we can not even count. We found boxes with items from the 3rd floor boxed with things from the first. Literally no method to the madness and this is even after we pre-packed almost 50% of the house first.

We are sorry we could not assist you. We cannot always promise having a spot open after an estimate has been performed unless it is booked right away. We do not want to overbook moving days as this leads to poor quality.

I am sorry you feel your claim has not been settled. Taylor Moving is a member of Allied Van Lines and as such, your move is registered and insured by Allied. I have seen Allied has sent out a technician that reported both the fridge and the bed frame were fixed. We will follow up again with Allied.

I have used Taylor over 3 decades. Each time they have broken something. I'm finished with them and don't recommend them.
I am sorry you had damage on your move. I noticed that we delivered you from storage on October 2 2024. We did email a claims form right away but it was never returned, as such it was closed on December 6 2024 past the 60 days reporting window.
