Get Movers is a horror show. Incompetent to say the least. Damages done to my property and no one will take accountability. Do not hire these guys! They subcontract to movers in other cities therefore you …
I used them twice. Here are the details; First time: they sent me two kids that were completely new. one of them wasn't even wearing gloves in January!!!! We even had to stop for like 45 mins to buy pair for him. not to mention they were polite but not efficient. Moving from storage to apartment, for just 2 bedroom apartment, took them almost 7 hours!!!!! I had to pay fortune for them. They even arrived late.
Horrible customer service. I called the Waterloo branch which had good reviews only to realize they gave my contract to the North York office. The movers came 1 hour late and then were EXTREMELY SLOW. It took them 8 HRS to move a 2 bedroom (less than 900 sq ft) apartment.They looked like rookies. They were doing the best they could but they were just inexperienced. I've moved several times in Toronto and never have I faced such unprofessional moving company.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE I booked a move with them for the end of May, in April. I ended up trying to move myself, and they refunded my deposit to me. My uhaul ended up being cancelled, and I re-booked with them a few days before my move. Pick-up on Friday, store in the truck overnight, and deliver on Saturday. Arrival between 9-10am Friday, they texted me at 9:50 that there has been a problem with the truck, they can't do the storage so they can't do my move.
We hired them ~ May 29, their movers are not professional at all. Please, hire someone who are well trained movers! First, their moving speed is not very good. Second, I told them to stack our goods in the trailer as much as possible because our moving carrier charges us by the trailer length, however they didn’t follow the instructions which afterwards cost me $800 more for freight.
Even though I spoke to the administration in the week up to our move the movers arrived completely unprepared. They did not have boxes or packaging which we then had to go out and buy. The movers did not wrap out pictures and paintings and …
