Let's Get Moving

This was a moving experience from hell!!!! I have moved to different countries and within Canada and Ontario and have never had one problem until I tried to move 6 items 108 klms with you. Your truck and crew arrived four hours late!! I had to call your office multiple times and leave many messages during those four hours before getting any response from someone at your company. The movers did not have any dollies to use so they had to hand carry everything.

Based on my experience, I would not be recommending this company to anyone. Our move didn't go as well as expected. We ended up with damage to the bottom of the mattress, the head and foot boards of our king bed set. I disassembled the set and made it ready for the move so I can guarantee that this damage occurred during the move. This was only noticed by me as i helped move the pieces into the bedroom. The damage want acknowledged until I said something. At that point an email was given to file a compliant.

UPDATE #3 Just received another call asking for the one star rating to be removed. The caller indicated that this was not the fault of the local franchisee who did not have the opportunity to provide service as this was an issue corporately with the sales staff at the call center. I advised that I welcomed the corporate entity adding their perspective to the review and agreed that while unfortunate, a consumer isn't responsible for the organizational structure of a company.

I hired these guys to move from an apartment to my new house, and this was the biggest mistake i have done to hire them, as they are paid by the hour, they were stalling for time, they took 7 hours to move half of the stuff only I had to call my friends to come and help to move the other half I knew that they were stalling because i have seen them with my own eyes using their phones between each part they move They have moving tools to help make it faster , but they were moving it by themselves, i called their…

I don’t recommend using Let’s get moving in Kitchener. We contracted their services because their quote was in the midrange of those we received and they had so many good google reviews. The day started off well, but they soon slowed down. At one point, the crew leader asked what they still needed to move, and I walked around with them and pointed out that everything that was left was going. Most of the pieces they had already wrapped in plastic so I didn’t understand why I needed to do this.

Very slow at what they’re doing .. even helped them.. they definitely take their time, making the move more expensive than it should have been. Would not recommend at all. It’s been 3 weeks today since I moved ( Oct 27, 2025) and my mother moved exactly one week before me. We’ve realized now after getting settled that we are definitely missing some items that clearly didn’t make it off the truck

They sent movers. The movers were good but very slow. It took from 10 am till 7pm. Before downloading 50% of the truck load, they ask you to pay before they finish and they keep your stuff and furniture as collateral. They give you a quote and charge you differently. The supervisor is rude. I don't recommend this company.
