In their own words
This company is terrible. They subcontract moves to local moving companies. Meaning, their fees are marked up so they get a cut. We booked our move a month ahead of time. 4 days before the move, we got a call asking to change our time from 9am to 3pm. We were told they couldn’t do 9am. Since it was only a few days before the move date, we had little choice but to accept.
This company subcontracts out to unqualified people, they caused thousands of dollars in damage to my property, and will not respond to calls or emails. The day of the move, they refused to leave until I paid, even though I was extremely upset with the service and asked to speak with a manager. The manager would then not answer my calls, and the movers would not leave my home.
Do not use this company. I paid 3500 for one bedroom. They will not give me invoice for reimbursement and blocked my calls. I am reporting them to marketplace. They promised my goods delivered and held them hostage advising truck broke down …
⭐1-Star Review – Damaged TV and Unresolved Claim Unfortunately, my experience with Get Movers was very disappointing. During my move, my 75" Samsung QLED TV was damaged and the screen was broken. I submitted a damage claim and was told it would take approximately 14 days to be reviewed. Months have now passed, and my claim remains unresolved. I have sent multiple follow-up emails but have not received a response.
Showed up 1.5 hrs too early, broke 2 dressers and didn't listen and take the furniture 1st, was asked 4 times. Left some of the heaviest things for disabled ppl to now move. Spent 40 minutes on a backlane on our dime, after we specified they wouldn't fit! We also made sure they had ample front street parking. Almost took out power lines in the backlane because they didn't listen.
I used Get Movers for a recent move. They were quick to get back for booking and easy to work with. However, the movers lost my treadmill key during the move, which makes it inoperable. It is expensive to replace, and because of supply chain issues may take quite a while to get here. I have been trying to get ahold of them since Thursday afternoon, but have been unable to reach an actual person.
This is the worst moving company sorry dispatching company. They will never return your calls or emails if you have issues with their service plus they will tell movers that its your the reason they haven't got paid because they take the disposit and don't care after that. They will also post fake reviews to hidden negative ones as they only respond to their own posts what a joke of a company your better off moving yoursel beware.
They have these fake good reviews because they are the worst professionals I have ever seen they are scammers loot money out of you in the end after doing the work they gonna ask for more money and they send third party people eazzy movers and they are not going to tell you anything before

Not one to typically write reviews, but my move yesterday was just that great. My roommate and I moved from a two-bedroom apartment and were honestly dreading the whole process. But the two movers showed up right on time and got straight to work. They were quick, efficient, and even took the extra time to wrap some of our most fragile items in blankets, even though we had already wrapped them in bubble wrap. It was a really nice extra precaution.
I can't say enough good things about these movers. I've used them for my past two moves, and they've also helped me transport furniture. They're exactly what I look for in movers punctual, communicative, low stress, and extremely helpful.They really have moving and rebuilding furniture down to a science. They work well together, which makes everything get done quickly and effectively.They're an amazing small business to support, and I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone I know.
