Good Greek Moving & Storage Orlando

I don’t normally write negative reviews, but after this experience, I feel it’s important to warn others!! They only sent two movers, which was completely insufficient for the job. Because of this, my partner had to step in and physically help to avoid delays. This was not what was agreed upon or paid for. Even though all details were discussed and confirmed the day before, they reviewed the paperwork again upon arrival, which felt like an attempt to alter or reinterpret the terms at the last minute.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so others know what happened. I specifically booked three movers, but only two showed up. I paid for three because I was moving from a third-floor apartment, and I didn't want the move to drag on all day or for two movers to be overworked. No one explained why the third mover never arrived, and I wasn't given the service I booked. During the move, something seemed off.

This was the worse moving company you could hire. I've moved multiple times through my job and this is the first time that Good Greek was used and will be the last. I'm writing this review to warn others on how this place is managed and hopefully help other avoid from having to deal with a company like them. I hade a move scheduled for dec. 20th. which was a Friday.

Misleading experience. Get firm details. I called their number to get an idea of their charges. The sales rep went through hourly rates, travel charge, and service charge, etc. I told him what we need moved and the locations. It was only a 30 mile move. I asked him if he could give me an estimate of the total. He said hold on came back with an estimate of $500 and change. He did tell me that if you don't cancel 48 hours after you arrange for the service you lose your deposit. The deposit was to be $260.

I hired Good Greek for my local commercial move recently. My experience has been extremely pathetic. I trusted Good Greek to do a good job but they failed and let me down. The team that came to move were under prepared, untrained and did not have the right tools. My equipment got damaged severely. They had no clue how to lift and load a heavy equipment. They had to come back twice in order to move this equipment. Then they rejected my damage claim without any due diligence.

I’ll start with the good. Our mover Nelson was accompanied by his son and another gentleman. They were professional, careful and worked efficiently. We received a 5 star crew. Now as far as Good Greek service and customer experience….0 STARS While the actual moving crew was professional, adaptable, and hardworking, our overall experience with this company was severely undermined by the poor handling and mismanagement by Dan, the general manager.

My son’s family recently moved using this company and we felt scammed. The initial quote for a 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom full service (packing and unpacking everything) from a 1st floor apartment to a second floor apartment in the same apartment complex was $900 and it would be done in 5 hours. They took 16 hours (9:30 am to 1:30 am) and that was upping their crew to 5.

When my mom first inquired about contracting their services they were calling her a few times a day to find out when she was going to need their services. Once she booked and gave her deposit of $250. They sent over all documents and quoted us about $500. They literally got here at 9 and were done before 12. They moved her from one apartment to the one two doors down. They didn’t even have to load the truck of house ridiculously close it was. I’m probably being exaggerated by say it’s even 50 feet.
