UPDATE 5.2.24 ZERO STARS !!!!! DO NOT USE THEM. EVER. I GAVE A SECOND CHANCE... I gave this company a chance to right their wrongs from the 1st move. They did not. Jonathan is wonderful facilitator and I'm sure the owner may be as well BUT as far as their comoany insurance policies I did expect fairness and resolve. When the 2nd set of movers ( Jamaica, Dmitry) saw what the 1st set if movers had done they were appalled. They proceeded to take video and pictures and submitthem back to the owner.

At first we were extremely pleased with the services and thought wow this is just amazing. Everything was going very well, the guys were fast and efficient, until later in the day once the moving guys were gone. My husband and I noticed the drawer to our bedroom frame was overlapping with the other drawer and of course with this, it did not close. Once we noticed this and tried to put it back in place, we noticed the screw was loose for the furniture piece that holds the drawer.
Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We deeply regret the issues you experienced during your move, and we sincerely apologize for the oversight regarding the loose and missing screws on your bed frames. This is certainly not the standard of service we strive to provide.
We recently hired this company for a local move within Sarasota. From the start, they were very kind and responsive over the phone, which we appreciated. Their quoted rate was lower than others we had received, which made them an attractive option — especially as I was 5.5 months pregnant at the time and unable to handle packing on my own while my husband was working 60–80 hours a week. That said, our experience didn’t quite meet expectations.

The measure of a good company is how they handle mistakes. I hired Teleport to move a hot tub. When delivering the hot tub, they asked if they could move the truck in the driveway. After the team was paid and left, I noticed there was quite a bit of oil on my paved driveway. I let the company know but never heard back. I would never use or recommend this company!
I've moved with them 3x's. The price is never what is quoted, I've been over charged the quoted price EACH TIME! Even when I've attempted to get the exact price, which you blow off bc the guys are so nice.Then, after spending $200 and hour they actually expect a tip. Very nice movers, but it depends on who you get as well. The 1st, 2 groups, were excellent. The last was extremely slow and I believe it was intentional due to the manager giving me the slowest group.

If you value your furniture please look other moving company options! Both crew members grabbed my $1,000 dresser by the legs. The legs were ripped off and the screw holes were stripped. The crew members instructed me to make a claim for reimbursement of the dresser and stated "It's too heavy. This happens all the time." When doing the claim their customer service representative stated that the average cost of a dresser these days is $150 to $300 and are offering a refund of only $150 for my $1k dresser.
We are truly sorry to hear about the distress and inconvenience caused by the damage to your dresser during the move. Please accept our sincere apologies for not meeting your expectations and for any miscommunication regarding our valuation and reimbursement policies.
We used them recently for a local home move. They way underestimated the cost and time. The guys worked hard and we're very nice. But they so underestimated the move it turned into a 17 hour move, from 9 Thursday morning finishing at 4 AM Friday. They started strong but obviously as the day wore on, they were very tired and mistakes began to happen. There were broken items, primarily glass and some other items that shouldn't have happened.
If I could give them big fat 0 I would . The 2 guys were very nice but this company is a rip off I moved from downtown orlando to downtown deland and the 2 movers started at 8 am and finished at 1:15 pm I got a quote of 575 not including mileage. However once they were done they told me I owed them 1069.00 and they would take the deposit of a 100.00 off which made me owe them 969.00 I was shocked because I didn't have any real furniture I had alot of extra lg boxes , 1 queen mattress and 2 big bar stools no sofas…

EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS!!! Yanis the owner put me at ease when we initially spoke on the phone and he took additional time for me to do 2 video walk-throughs to access the space I would need for my storage unit. The day of the move I was greeted by 3 handsome well dressed angels from Switerland. There was the tallest man named Yanis and his 2 helpers, Russell and Demetrie. They worked nonstop for around 8 hours, minus their lunch break. They arrived on time and each one worked so hard.
Wow—thank you so much for this heartfelt and incredible review! It truly means the world to us. Yanis, Russell, and Demetrie will be touched by your kind words (and the “angels from Switzerland” line definitely made us smile!).

Hired Teleport Moving to move from an 800sq ft 3rd floor apartment in Orlando, FL, to a location that was a 3 hour drive away on a Sunday, no less. Teleport sent me two movers who showed up exactly on time in a massive moving truck. These guys emptied my apartment with ease and professionalism in record time (maybe an hour or two at most).

I cannot say enough good things about Teleport Moving and Storage! I have used them for many moves in the last couple of years, and I have only ever had a super experience. Jonathan is a lovely man who has done all of the scheduling for our moves. He's communicative and replies quickly, whether I call or text him, and it makes the scheduling process so easy. Moving is generally pretty stressful, and I just find that Teleport's awesome level of communication makes it as low stress a process as it can be.
