In their own words
Like many other customers, I first hired Good Time Moving & Storage because of their reasonable quote and responsive sales staff. However, I decided to hire them, the problems began. First, I was quoted with 3 movers but only 2 showed up. When a third man finally arrived, he spent the first two hours watching sports on his cell phone.
All of the pics are from after the move. They left their own moving blankets wrapped up on a few items. Probably because they were afraid they broke the electronics, too. Had them move us May 23rd 2021. We paid an extra $350 piano moving fee to have them drop the piano on the cement and break it. After they dropped it they just rolled it across the street and gave up, leaving permanent marks on the road. They also broke the glass shelves and sides on a china cabinet as well as a tv stand.
The worst company ever! Do not hire them!!! The movers are still unloading but are the most unprofessional movers I’ve ever experienced! So many broken items and one guy fell asleep at the job and so much more I can’t even post! They are terrible! The manager never called to apologize, still waiting on that! DO NOT HIRE!!!
I guess I should start with that I called every day for 5 days to find out what time they would be coming to move me and never received a return call until they were on their way the day of the move. The gentleman that showed were nice enough and they did come with two trucks and 4 guys even though we only used one truck. There was a lot of damage done to my previous and existing home.I have called every day, starting with the day they moved me and as usual I have yet to receive a return call.
They ended up getting to Clarksville around 9:30 and left before 2:30. They loaded all of the boxes that we had packed and then started on the big furniture. They did not get all of the furniture. They left parts of bed frames in each room. Dresser Drawers in rooms. Mirror of a dresser in the master bedroom, 2 dressers, one china cabinet and 2 desk chairs among other kitchen chairs. Now I have to get a storage unit and take the material myself because they did NOT do what they promised they would.
Good Time Moving & Storage broke multiple items during transit, although the destination was less than a mile down the road. Customer Service was a nightmare to deal with and played the victim card. You will need to hire an attorney if you wish to get to a resolution with this company, so budget accordingly.
We hired them to do our move this past weekend. The three men showed up on time and were very nice. I was quoted for 5 hours at a total of 1200 dollars. After three hours at our house moving the furniture, (not a lot of items, no boxes, no …
Awful, they shattered my $1000 TV, left multiple stains on my white couch and broke my bed frame. Criminal, I want to sue. They wont return my calls or contact me about my claim.

We LOVED using Good Time Moving for our move from Franklin to Old Hickory. We paid exactly what we were quoted, nothing more. Mike and Kevin were efficient and experienced, and helped with all of the heavy objects with ease. They assisted with placing our furniture in our new home and even set up our electric couches for us! Our rep, Daniel, came by to check on the process, which was a great touch. The in-office team was efficient with sending paperwork and updates on time. We cannot recommend them enough.
