I am revising my original review after hearing from the owner that my belongings are now scheduled to arrive on Sunday. While I appreciate the update, it does not change the overall experience or the issues that led me to write this review. Before booking, I was told over the phone that I would receive my belongings within 2–7 days.
They took 2 weeks to bring my merchandise from VA to NY. The guys gave me one day and time then texted me at 10pm the night before to change it. The guys that came to deliver my merchandse didn't have tools to reassemble my furniture making me have to Google them pics of what the furniture was suppose to look like. When asked why don't they have tools the one guy said his dispatcher doesn't pay for that.
Started off great. Eli is very personable. But in the end, I wish I had stuck with the initial company I got a quote from. Pros: All my belongings arrived. Eli does a good job at selling you a dream. Cons: At pickup, the quote I was given doubled, yes, DOUBLED. Actually more doubled. Over a 100% increase. They claimed my stuff took up space in the pick up truck and was a large load even-though I could see that that my boxes were not stacked up and the truck was poorly organized.
We hired Gorilla Haulers to move the belongings of our 4800 sq foot home from Leesburg Va to Milton DE on 8/2/25. I submitted a listing of exactly what we needed moved on 3 separate occasions. …
