In their own words
Lisa P hired Greene Moving of Manchester CT to move her from Mystic to Coventry and they moved less than 1/2 her stuff. She asked why they would not move the remaining items and got no response from staff. I had to scramble and find a rental truck the following day and move two trucks full of items. I called and got no response from Dave. I rate 1 star and unprofessional. I cannot upload a picture of invoice with this review but will post on Facebook.
They brought a truck to small so they had to make 2 trips and run the bill up. Also they broke something of mine and tried to hide it in the basement. Unfortunately for them they were spotted.. when I called the office and told them she said she would get back to me and never did. She then would not take my calls.
Hi Ted, I’m sorry to hear you had a bad experience with your move, however we have no record of moving you. Would you please give me more information on the date you moved and locations. Perhaps you have the wrong company? Thank you, Ted.
The movers are good but they will over charge you! They gave me hourly rate and quote and said after 4 hours it will be based on the minutes they work. they moved the furniture and boxes in total 4hours and 20 …
Hi Sanaz, you were quoted for 7 hours including drive time to and from the job and you signed for that. The job was completed in 6 hours, so you paid less than the estimated price. I am sorry you feel that you were overcharged but everything matches up on our end and you came away saving some money…
Worst experience anyone could think of, they literally just said my stuff was 5300lbs trying to charge me $3100, they reweighed it and it came to 2300lbs and cost $1200, THATS 2000 DIFFERENCE!!

Greene Moving and Storage was recommended to me by a good friend and coworker and the company and their staff did not disappoint! They arrived on time and were both efficient and very respectful in handling my possessions. The three gentlemen who helped me had great attitudes, smiled and laughed throughout the move. I'd recommend this company to anyone and will definitely be using them in the future when/if I need to move again!
Extremely professional company! They were responsive, courteous and knowledgeable. Awesome job all the way around!! I highly recommend.
I use Greene Moving & Storage for commercial jobs, primarily. They are the best! Patrick is always available for walking job sites, scheduling and getting the best men for the job. The actual movers are a delight to work with, anticipate your needs and are extremely professional. Ellen is awesome behind the scenes, helping with invoicing and paperwork. I did refer them for a home move and they hit it out of the park on that job too! I highly recommend Greene Moving & Storage for your next move!!!!
