We chose this company for our move yesterday and were excited about the process. However, the movers did not arrive on time, and there was no communication or notice regarding the delay. They arrived three hours after the scheduled time and didn’t answer the phone during those three hours. We were nearly forced to rent a U-Haul for self-moving due to the lack of updates. Since moving is a time-sensitive process, we were extremely frustrated by the lack of communication.

Booked these guys on thumbtack a while back. The movers were swearing the entire time in Chinese and didn’t realize I could understand and cornered me to give them more tips. They also moved incredibly slow because I used movers recently for a more complex move and they took half the time. I left a review detailing this and the owner guilted me into leaving a better review given we are both Chinese. I obliged.

The worst experiences ever. The final price is so much higher than they estimated without any reasonable explanation and their attitude is quite roughly. Feel extremely disappointed and would never use their business again.

I was forced by the movers to write a positive review on yelp, and they took a snapshot of the same. Consequently I had to edit my review later. This is the most disappointed I have ever been. Complete sham and rip off. The movers took 6 hours to just pack basic furniture in my 2 bedroom single floor apartment. For reference, the exact same furniture took other movers less than 2 hours to pack, the last time we moved. They kept taking smoke breaks every 15 mins and were extremely slow.

Happy house movers is a COMPLETE SCAM. I cannot emphasize enough how unhappy I am with this service. I have used many independent movers in my 20 years of living in apartments. Hire a real company to do your move. 2 guys took 6 hours at $115 per hour to move my 1 bedroom apartment and then argued with me about their tip afterwards. It ended up costing 3x the amount at $915 instead of my anticipated 3-4 hour move. They did not understand any of my directions which made it very difficult to give advice or direction.

They complained the entire time even though I sent them photos of what needed to pack. Gave me a rate and truck fee which we agreed on. they said tip isnt included which is fine. at the end, we paid them and tipped but they demanded a $300 tip all in cash!! i told them thats too much, i dont have that extra amount plus you cant tell me how to tip! he got so angry and kept demanding so much for a tip. this was NOT a tip, this is a WAGE that was nor communicated to us. i dont recommend this company.

Ridiculously high rates for anything long distance. I spoke with the sales representative to get an estimate on pricing. NEVER DID SHE MENTION $184 PER HOUR! I moved out my parents house with a toddler and we do not have that much furniture (2 Amazon dressers and a queen mattress). They came and loaded the truck at 8:05am and hit the road by 9:45am from Elk Grove to Sunnyvale. Real easy drive.. 111 miles. I arrived at 1pm after them.. and took their sweet A** time unloading.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! They broke our brand new 86 inch flat-screen by putting a giant thumbprint in the screen, damaged our entertainment center and put scratches all over dresser, every other item we have. Once made aware of damages, the owner Tony blames us for moving it and calls us liars. They will not reimburse for any damages. Now we are paying money for the terrible move and to replace all of our broken items.
