This company expects that the customer adhere to an EIGHT hour window period. After waiting 4 plus hours for the crew to arrive, I received a call informing me that the service needed to be cancelled because their truck broke down. This company is quite unprofessional by giving an eight hour window period and by not maintaining their vehicles.
Dear Sandra, We apologize for the unfortunate event today the truck broke down on its way to your house in the afternoon. The minute the truck broke down, your driver/foreman Alec contacted you with immediate updated, followed by your sales rep Tommy, and followed by the company owner Moses.
Contacted Hauling Moses through Angie's list and had an estimate appointment scheduled with Eric today, but he was a no call/no show. They apologized and offered to reschedule once I reached out, but did not take accountability or give assurance to ensure that they would honor the new appointment. Would be concerned of them being a no-show on moving day. Very flaky experience.
Dear Kelly, Thanks for the feedback and I am sorry you feel that way. I called and left messages on your phone after you had submitted your request online. You never answered the phone calls, but only communicated with text messages requesting a Free in-home estimate.

Recently we hired Hauling Moses to relocate our home from the Bay Area to Sacramento. Our overall review of the service is very positive. Hauling Moses provides good value for the money. We would recommend them to others who might be considering a move. Our move was large, with many details, spanning two days (one day for packing and one day to complete packing and delivery). This was not the first relocation for our family. Given that experience, we realize that no move is perfect.

Hauling Moses isn't trying to be the cheapest game in town, and they'll tell you that straight up — they're interested in being the best. So if you are looking for a bargain basement bid, look elsewhere; however, Hauling Moses provides an absolutely excellent value, and very honest estimates — and it should be noted that they provide a *maximum* figure, not a minimum...

This is the second time I've used Hauling Moses for a move. This first time was in 2019 and their service was so good that we decided to use them again when we had to move again. I gave them a call and the next day I was able to have one of their representatives come do a walk through/ estimate. They were able to suggest several options that would ensure a cost efficient but high quality move despite several complexities (ex. construction, lots of fragile items, bulky kids toys, appliances).

I moved last weekend with Hauling Moses. I was impressed by how fast they responded to my Angie’s list request for quote. They popped by my place to survey and explained all the options, quoting for moving with and without their packing service. I ended up packing my own boxes. There were about 35 small and medium boxes plus couch, kitchen table and chairs, bed, and assorted miscellany. This took 4.25 hours including drive time. My foreman was Nick and Darrin and Evan helped with the hauling.
We are happy you ended up paying less than what it was estimated in person. That is why we provide always a not to exceed estimate - thank you so much.
