Hazzard Moving & Storage Company

This company blocks you on Facebook if you write the truth about them! They don't pay for the damages done in your house by them! And they are rude!

This company is the worst I’ve ever had to deal with. They stopped packing at 3pm and said the movers would finish the next day which not to my surprise was not the case. One of the packers tried bribing me for money and complaining that we didn’t pack enough boxes ourselves. Which we packed over 60 boxes before they arrived. The person packing the kitchen broke one of our items and hid it in the drawer instead of telling us. Two other packers tried to fight each other in our front yard.

Movers assured me that they would have everything packed and put in storage. This was not the case. I received a bill from my apartment complex for $2,000's. I called to find out why,to find out that that hazard left my couch,my wash machine and dryer,one of my beds and all my clothes were still in the closets. I went to my storage facility and everything was just thrown in,not stacked or organized and my parents ashes were laying on the ground in the corner,tgey had just thrown the urns in the storage area.

Absolutely horrible. Was hired by military to deliver my household goods. MAYBE 50% of the boxes made it into the proper rooms. Found parts of my sons bed in 4 different rooms. They assembled NOTHING, which they were supposed to assemble everything that the other movers disassembled. They rushed the job and just through stuff everywhere. Found boxes marked “master bedroom” in almost every room of the house, including the garage.

The people we worked with were very responsive, helpful and courteous- specifically the driver and his crew that delivered our items from St. Louis to our new location. Unfortunately between items being unloaded to their warehouse for temp storage and loaded back into the truck for delivery, we sustained damage to 6 of the 11 pieces of furniture they moved. The damage was more than just a ding or scratch here or there. I would not recommend Hazzard Moving.

BEWARE: Review the "Condition at origin" before signing!! They described new items as "rubbed, stretched, and chipped all over" when they packed it so they wouldn't have to accept liability. Used Hazzard to move between states and so many things arrived broken, ripped, spilled, etc. So furious. They took the lazy way out packing and protecting my items. Some items were left unboxed! Definitely making sure the locator that used them through work does not use them anymore.

Looks like these guys will hire just about anyone to drive their trucks. It's like grandma driving a Uhaul for the first time. I'll not be suggesting your company to my clients. Also the management doesn't seem to care that their drivers are rude

Very grumpy when picking up the phone.. wasn't friendly and sounded like I was bothering him... won't be calling again to try and use them.
