I hired these guys to move my furniture from my storage unit to my new apartment. The move was on 9-6-2023 at 9 am. They showed up around 9:20 and that’s okay no big deal. Upon getting to the storage unit everything was ready for them and I was moving my TV myself because I didn’t have a box. They packed the truck up and then asked about the TV and I said it’s okay I’m putting it in my car.

Be cautious with this company. I hired 2 guys and 1truck to help me move to my new place. Was first charged $30 off the bat for a traveling fee. I was told that my location was outside of Charlotte. I found that funny because my city and zip was still in Mecklenburg Cty. Anyways I chopped it up because I still needed the help. I scheduled 9am appt. they arrived late but didn't sweat it as they had the truck packed in about an hour.

It took them six hours to move me from a 1 br apartment to another 1 br apartment. I’ve moved many times over the last decade , and it has never taken a two man crew more than 4.5 hours tops to do the same job. They also would not put some of my items in the truck, so I have to make a trip back to the apartment to retrieve the other items. Every few drop offs to the truck they would come back up and ask me what was going. I kept saying everything but they kept asking.

We had an awful experience with this moving company. They were more affordable than others, so we decided to go with them. I called weeks in advance and asked if they charged an extra fee for moving safes. I was asked to send a picture via text, and said they’d let me know. I sent pictures and received a confirmation that they would not charge extra for moving the safe. I thanked them and then locked in their services. Weeks later the moving date came, and the team showed up on time.

**BEWARE** This company will "gouge" YOU!!! This company was hired by my niece to move her household goods 28 miles to her new home and it was the MOST HORRIFIC experience she has had in her life. What should have been a 4-6 hour move was stretched into a 9 hour move. When this company was initially hired over the phone, she had to give a detailed description of everything that required Hector and his sons to move and was told this move would only require 1 truck (one trip to the new home).

I reached out to Hector & Sons because we were on a time crunch on finding movers at the last minute and when I saw they had pretty good reviews, I figured I was making the right choice. The first indication of unprofessionalism should've been a sign for me when they texted instead of called, but I figured we are in the technological age so it seems to be the new norm. They said they'd be sending a 26 foot truck at $90 an hour for 2 men with a $30 travel fee and that sounded fine.

I was very disappointed in this company after receiving a referral from someone. I had a local move to a smaller house. I called to set up the move and spoke to Natalia. She was very responsive, I told them the size of the home, contents, etc. They quoted me $130/hr for 3 guys and they would send their large truck. Day of the move comes and it looks like it is supposed to thunderstorm, I called early in the morning and advised that I could postpone the move 1 day if the rain was going to be an issue.

I had two movers from Hector and sons move me in July 2016. One of the movers was friendly, the other who appeared to be the leader wasn't friendly at all. He walked into My Home & immediately began telling me what he could and could not move in a two hour time frame. Very stern, he didn't introduce himself, he didn't say good afternoon, hello or nothing!!! He went straight to stating what he could and could not do. Talking at me not to me. He came across as being very headstrong! Not very professional.
