Undergrads Moving | Movers Charlotte NC

Aweful conpany. I received their service and from first glance it was great! The guys were quick when they got started then when they left all hell broke loose. They left half of my stuff in the halls of my 3 floor apartment behind the elevator so if i had not walked back in after seeing them off i would have left tables and chairs on the bottom floor and a slew of boxes on the top floor.

Extremely dissatisfied with my experience with this company. I contacted them to get help with unloading and loading for my move. I spoke with someone over the phone who let me know that my destination was not in their service area but he said he was going to check and see if for a higher charge this could be done and he would call back. I got a call back from them and they left a voicemail saying this was possible and that I had been booked.

Heads up. If they break something on your move you're only getting 60 cents per pound of weight of the item. They don't reimburse you based off the value. I found out the hard way when they ripped the upholstery on my couch in 3 places. You could have a $300 vase that weights 10 pounds... you're getting $6 if they break it. You could have a $20 chair that weighs 10 pounds, you're getting $6 for it. Makes no sense and is a scam. The movers were nice. Good kids. Mistakes happen.

The moving time took over double what the quote was. Have been calling for the past two days without success of speaking to someone.

I cannot recommend the use of Undergrad Movers Charlotte. I was quoted ~$250 for 2 movers for a move from one apartment building to a new one, 1 mile away. This sounded great initially, however I ended up paying $509 + tips in the end. What wasn’t communicated is that the original quote was only for 2 hours of the movers time. This is very unrealistic for navigating apartment buildings with elevators, moving the furniture, packing the truck, and unloading to the new apartment.

I scheduled my move with Undergrads a week or two in advance and received two confirmation calls for a 10 am start. On the morning of the move, an hour and a half before the movers were due, I got a call canceling because a mover was ill. This forced me to assist with my move, causing extreme inconvenience and stress. Blake Martin, who was very helpful, and a stranger helped me finish the move. Another mover, Josh Reid, arrived too late to assist much.

We hired 2 movers to load a uhaul for our upcoming cross country move. The booking process was smooth and I expected to receive quality service based on the positive google reviews. The 2 guys arrived on time, however we had a number of issues during and after the job. To start, they did not follow instructions on how the truck should be packed. They were instructed to pack everything as far back as possible and leave room at the entrance, as well as utilize the furniture pads we provided.

Hired undergrad movers for a move on 8/11 for a local move from a rental property to our newly purchased home. The movers arrived on time and were friendly. Unfortunately they dropped an item on the stairs and broke the stair as well as placed a hole in the wall. I immediately took pictures and pointed it out to the moving team as well as contacted the moving company. I called and got no answer but they did text and I informed them of the incident and sent pics.
