We hired Moving Muscle to come load a U-Haul for us back on June 27th. I gave two rather than one star because the two men who came to pack the truck worked hard and were super polite to work with. However in moving the washer & dryer, they ripped carpet coming out and then caused damage to our stairwell wall (several spots there were 1-3 inches long). Photos attached. We weren’t mad the damage happened, we get that can happen.
RUN AWAY from this company. We booked them through uhaul in March for a move and they were terrible. Booked 2 guys and one showed up an hour late with no notice. They had zero experience or idea what they were doing. Didn’t wrap any of our furniture, didn’t remove drawers from dressers, no clue what to do. My husband and I had to move a lot of the furniture ourselves the first hour while we waited for the other guy to show up and that’s only the beginning.
Thank you for your feedback. This experience does not align with the high standards that Moving Muscle is known for, and we will be investigating the matter. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent service, as reflected in the numerous positive reviews we receive.
This was the worst service I have ever received. My items were damaged as they put times on top of each other that had sharp edges so it scratched my furniture. Reached out to let them and received no response.

THIS IS A SCAM! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! I hired this company to pack my U-Haul and unpack it. The movers were late arriving to my apartment, had literally no idea how to pack items, and just shoved them in the truck. They quit on the job because “they had other plans.” This was Ethan and another person whose name was never given to me. Then Jordan “the boss” called and said they could finish the job the next day. Obviously that was unacceptable.
We’re really sorry about your experience and completely understand your frustration. This is not the level of service we strive for, and we’re addressing the issues with the movers and the way the situation was handled. We apologize for the damage and inconvenience.
I would urge others to exercise caution when booking with this company. While the workers themselves were polite and well-meaning, they appeared inexperienced and unprepared. It’s concerning that a moving crew would arrive without basic moving equipment—something I never expected to be an issue. I was also told that my remaining items, including the heavier pieces, would not fit.
We sincerely apologize that your experience did not meet expectations. While we’re glad to hear our crew was polite and respectful, we understand your frustration regarding the equipment concerns and the remaining items that were unable to be loaded.
Scheduling was pretty easy. I let them know in advance that we needed to move a refrigerator Nice kids showed up and worked hard. When it came time to move the fridge, they messed around for 15 minutes with the straps and harnesses where two guys pick up something heavy and walk with it. About 2/3 of the way to the door, they dropped it. And I mean they dropped it hard. One of the French doors busted off. All 3 doors and the main body were dented. One on the drawers flew out and broke.
Movers were nice and polite and did an excellent job. My main complaint is when I scheduled the person told me if we needed more time to load just tell the movers, but the movers were already scheduled for another job. so I ended up having to hire more movers to finish the job. I called back and was told I was misinformed by the guy who booked Unfortuneate for me. If I had known this I would have booked for a longer load. Just bad business practice, all employees should know what their policies are.

UPDATED below - Disappointed with being left high and dry: My initial booking interactions with Moving Muscle were great; they were flexible with rescheduling when something came up for me and were communicative. The movers sent were for the most part professional and were very efficient with packing the truck. However, they didn't have any moving blankets and severely stained, splintered, and damaged several pieces of furniture by dragging them in the truck.
