In their own words
Literally the worst company in the entirety of my experience with movers, in which there has been plenty! I was scheduled for a move, both date and time confirmed on initial call. I additionally got a text same day to confirm, with instructions to call a 716 number which I did. Then the confirmed time to move came around and went. No show!! I assure you we called them and text them numerous times! Completely ghosted us.
Movers were 2 hours late! Said it would be 3 movers but was only 2. Movers were exhausted at the end of the move and tried to leave some of my belongings behind because they had another move scheduled… BUT YOU WERE 2 HOURS LATE FOR MY MOVE. Paid over $1,000 for the move and my wood furniture was left outside in the snow uncovered and got damaged. Some of my belongings were missing including my daughter kitchen set that wasn’t open yet! I would NEVER use this company again and would devise against it if anyone ask.
RUN from this business! We hired them to load a 26 foot box truck. We provided moving blankets and straps to tie down our belongings. They didn't use half of them. Totes and boxes marked with red "fragile" stickers on every side were placed on the bottom of the truck and 4-6 totes of heavy boxes piled on top of them! More than half of our items were broken or damaged.
We hired the Helping Hands Movers to move my Mom from a 2 bedroom apartment and I must say Brandon and his crew of (2) did an amazing job, honestly beyond amazing. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a moving crew. One full truckload and the unloading of the truck was flawless. They made sure to lay down runners to not damage the rugs throughout the new apartment due to the rain. They covered everything to keep it from getting wet. Awesome company...You need movers?
It’s painful to leave a negative review for a young company, but my experience with Helping Hands was so awful that I must. Because I live far away and couldn’t get there due to winter storms, I hired Brandon to fully pack, load and unpack my 81 year old Mom’s little one bedroom apartment with very little stuff, moving from one senior citizen’s complex to another. Brandon offered me an all inclusive flat rate for the move, which was supposed to include three movers.
We apologize to hear about your experience, the packing took 3 hours because every piece of china/glass was individually wrapped with Bubble wrap along with Packing paper so each piece had double the protection insuring no damage . the 6 hour total for Pack & Move had affecting circumstances ex.
They were 5 hours late! I was given a 12-2 time slot so I waited around( not really was moving my own things) til 7pm! Yes, they were faster than me being one person. They weren’t able to complete moving all my items because it was 10 pm and the truck was full, I would have paid whatever amount to have it completed! Wasn’t even offered the next day or even another day! After a very long day for all Of us I’m sure, I was given something to sing and paid cash.
Brandon visited us to give us an estimate several days before our scheduled move. He said a three man crew would be there at 10 AM on moving day. Instead he called us at 9:30 AM on moving day to tell us his truck was broken down but that a mechanic was on the way. He called back again to tell us the mechanic couldn't repair the truck and that he would get a rental truck.
Completely unprofessional. I was having difficulty finding a mover for a small move and made an appointment by text. They sent pricing guidelines and I I sent specifics and waited for confirmation. After asking for one the day before the scheduled move , I got what seemed like a canned response that the team was looking forward to serving. I was wary that I no one ever contacted me by phone but the good reviews gave me comfort. Next time I will trust my gut. They never showed up.There was no response to texts.

In their own words
I had an excellent experience with Brandon and the crew! They were prompt, polite, and extremely professional throughout the entire process. They handled very large and awkwardly shaped items with ease and care, making what could have been a stressful day run smoothly. I especially appreciated how communicative they were, always checking in to make sure everything was placed exactly how I wanted it. I couldn’t have asked for a better team—efficient, respectful, and hardworking.
Reviews had me nervous that they wouldn't show but I messaged them to confirm a week before and they called the night before and day of to say they were on their way, and there were no issues. There isn't a contract ahead of time, but it also gives you flexibility in if closing date of your house gets delayed, you aren't penalized. They were pretty cheap compared to past moves, and efficient in moving things. It helped they don't charge travel time to your location, unlike other companies.
I recently used Helping Hands Movers for my relocation, and I couldn't be more impressed with their service. From start to finish, they were fast, efficient, and highly professional. The team handled all my belongings with great care, ensuring everything was transported safely and securely. Not only did they complete the move in record time, but they also offered their services at a very reasonable price.
I don't usually write reviews, this is my first one ever actually but I felt it was necessary because it was honestly the best service i have ever received. They were professional and friendly came with plenty of equipment to make sure all of my stuff was stored the right way. There were 2 men who did the move and it was not an easy one.
