In their own words
Very poor experience with this moving company. The movers caused damage both to the furniture moved and my house, including scraping metal edges of a desk onto a newly finished hard wood floor to push the desk into a room. The manager was misleading in the price so it ended up costing a lot more than expected. The movers also suggested it was an hourly service but then gave a hard time when asked to move more furniture than what was originally communicated. In general the whole experience was very unprofessional.
update: after a lengthy conversation and being told "your items could not have been moved in one trip" he refunded the $100 deposit for taking a long time to lock in our date. Nothing for any of his lack of communication on the rest of unmoved items, or underestimation of time/space. $100 will go toward the uhual needed to finish the move ourselves. Would recommend for small moves only. The first time we used this company we were pushed back an entire day because they misjudged the first move of the day before us.
Hello. I am sorry that you were not happy with your move. I did notice you said they left a lot of the items in the garage and used a smaller truck. The box truck we use now is actually bigger then the trailer we previously used and was packed from front to back.
They take $20 off your bill if you write a five star review, so the reviews are not to be trusted here. They did an ok job but scratched my stairs with furniture. Willing to do small jobs. I'd give them 3 stars but I'm putting others on notice about the paid reviews
Thank you for the 5-stars, Richard. We pride ourselves on good, quality work and we're glad you agree!
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

I was thoroughly impressed with the truck and trailer moving service I received. The team was incredibly professional, arriving right on time and handling everything with care. They efficiently loaded and secured the items, ensuring they were well-protected during transit. The communication throughout the process was top-notch, keeping me informed about the progress. What truly stood out was their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
We contacted them to help us move short notice and they didn't hesistate to assist us. We had a fairly large house and they moved everything in a timely fashion without marking up any walls or damaging anything! Great movers!! Great price and very professional!
These guys are absolutely amazing! I had a full 3 bedroom house to move. Admittedly, I didn’t have every little thing packed as it should have been. (As a single mom, it’s hard to get things done with a toddler attached to your hip.) Chris didn’t bat an eye. Him and his crew worked from morning until early evening, making sure I didn’t leave anything behind. It was clear to them I was extremely stressed - numerous times through the day, they took the time to offer words of encouragement.
I hired Truck & A Trailer Moving last November to help me move some heavy furniture and boxes out of my former house. They were excellent! My timeline for moving was extremely short due to the unusual circumstances around the sale of the house and Truck & A Trailer Moving fit me into their schedule within 2 days of calling them. Jazey and Chris arrived on time, were very courteous, and handled my items with care.
We were happy to accommodate you, Briana! Thank you for sharing the great experience you had with us and please keep us in mind if there's anything we can do for you at anytime in the future.
