Wayfinder Moving Services - Buffalo NY Movers

I have worked with 6 plus moving companies over the years, dealing with them was one of the Worst experiences of my Life. This has jeopardized my health. So many problems, and damage to my Belongings/Antiques too numerous to count. Broke my Marble top on a dresser in half, broke spikes off of my $1,600. Oak mantel. Mice must have been in their padding, chewed up the felt in my Dude locking desk. I have four pages of damage, I thought of, off the top of my head.

Very clean, very organized , very respectful, very careful at a fair price. Highly recommend. REVISED after storage and move to Florida. Antique tilt table broken in half, expensive china cabinet seriously damaged, glass cracked, wood chipped on both sides, no response or apology of any kind from ownership. No responsibility. Delivery person in Florida very rude and combative, quit during unloading. Would be very cautious using this company.

To be clear, I never hung up on anyone. Your employee called me ONCE and left a voicemail that I missed. I left work to be there. I told him and your employee that I didn't appreciate being stiffed. I guess that's berating?? Instead of gaslighting you should take responsibility. Who would possibly use a company like this?? Glad I found one that's honest and had some ethics!! UPDATE: Scheduled an appointment for an estimate.

I chose Wayfinder for my out-of-state move based on their strong Google reviews. Initially, they were great – the walkthrough and sales process were smooth and professional. However, things went downhill during the move itself. Many items that we agreed would be wrapped or protected were not. The movers made us uncomfortable with comments about the volume of our belongings.

I was told that I would receive my estimate within a day. 5 days later, I received an estimate of $15000 to pack and move a small 2 bedroom home. The packing and insurance was a minimal portion of the cost. It would cost @11000 for simply driving the truck 6 hours and emptying the truck into a storage compartment. $11000!!! I completed the same move in the opposite direction a few years back for less than half the moving cost. This company is a rip off!

The move involved a local and long distance stops. The crew was unprepared and had to call someone from the office to bring the required paperwork as well as the mattress covers. It took additional hours for the local stops. The long distance move was equally unprepared. Only one man appeared and has to call to have another mover come to help him .I would never hire this company again

Very poor job on this move. Went to the second drop off first? Kept the Elder Transition staff waiting for hours for them at the first stop. Mom without furniture for most of the day. Received their payment right away. Elder Tran apologized on their behalf. Still no apology 3 weeks later from Wayfinder. Oh, and they cancelled our initial move date without the courtesy of contacting me.

Employees were nice office staff on the other hand insufferable snarky with poor attitudes and conflicting statements regarding my move and price
