Company broke over $12,000 worth of irreplaceable heirlooms. And only sent me and my wife $100 check in the mail. Would not recommend this company. The movers were rude. The owner is that guy that talks about working hard to keep a business going but will not fix what his company breaks or ruins…

I accidentally booked Helping Hands instead of Helping Hands Express, and I truly regret the mistake. The team that showed up (Jimmy, Tommy, and another young man) provided poor service compared to my past experience with Helping Hands Express. They did not fully assemble all of my children’s beds and charged me an extra $90 for additional time.
Mover beware...I had a move scheduled today to move out of my house I was closing on. After not hearing from anyone I had to call 30 minutes before my window closed just to find out they canceled my move on me. All I got was a lousy sorry and an offer to come the next day. Which was way beyond the deadline for me to be out of the house. This forced me to scramble to find someway to move my entire home in the late afternoon, on my own.
Helping Hands movers are exactly that, helping hands not movers. Their website says no hidden charges or fees but I assure you at the end of the job the final will definitely much more than what was quoted. Our quote was $4k and at the end it was $7k even though we gave all info upfront so they knew it was a 5 bedroom house. My husband and I worked Diligently throughout the day to assist and still the price was that much more.
FACT CHECK : You where not moved by Helping Hands Movers Inc . Maybe Helping Hands Express which is not our Company . Please check your contract full name and correct this mistake . This is not a kind review and it does not belong on our web site .
Not impressed with the level of professionalism at all. During the loading, one of the employees thought it would be funny to joke about stealing and selling my tv's which made me feel very uncomfortable right from the start. There was a clear change in motivation to finish in a timely manner during the unload at our new home vs. the initial loading. Started moving at 8:50am and was finished by 12:30, yet was somehow charged $807.50. I was quoted $510 ($170/hr)!
All my food had to be thrown out due to the way the perishable food was packed leaving me with almost nothing to eat for the month. I called the dispatcher who said" Oh your lucky he packed perishable food at all. He's not supposed to. I said Why am I lucky all the food had to be thrown out. If he's not supposed to pack it he should have told me that AND NOT PACKED IT!!! There were many other issues many based on lack of common sense.
PLEASE TAKE TIME TO SEE THE COMPANY WHO REALLY MOVED YOU . OUR RECORDS SHOW IT WAS NOT US . THANKS FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS DETAIL.
Unfortunately Jim couldn’t get a crew together for my move and called me 10 mins before they were supposed to move me to tell me. And when I was upset (of course) he proceeded to be extremely rude and aggressive and canceled my move altogether. I know things happen last minute and it’s out of anybody’s control, but Jim, learn how to handle confrontation better. Don’t be rude to your customers. I don’t recommend this company but Thanks and shout out to River City Moving Company!
Unfortunately we where not able to meet our 9 am appointment I Jim Hamilton apologize for the inconvience we caused you . This is not our standard of operation .
Not sure how there are positive reviews for this moving company. They were out moving in Jacksonville in London road in San Marco and continually harassed my wife as she walked by with our dog. This is a horrendous way to treat people especially with the name of the company on the truck. Very disappointed that this happened and will adamantly tell people to not use them due to their horrible behavior.

Helping Hands Movers did an amazing job packing my 4 bedroom home and extra rooms. They had the best communication I’ve ever experienced with a moving company. The movers, Tommy, Carl and Jordan were prompt and polite. They also check in with me through out the move to check in and make sure they were taking the right items and leave alone the stuff we don't need. They made the move stress free and I will definitely be using them again. Them 3 are the best movers.

I've used Helping Hands Movers twice and both crews were fantastic! 1st Move - Jimmy, Tommy and Elijah 2nd Move - Tommy, Elijah and Jabriel My first experience was exceptional as was the second. Great communication from office and team doing the moving. They provided details on exactly how I would be charged at scheduling, when they arrived onsite to load the truck and when they were complete. Every detail for the invoice was as communicated and very much appreciated.
