I used Helping Hands at the end of September for a move that I was having to do on short notice so nothing was packed. I had them help me pack the first day and they were going to move me the next day. The first day they helped pack me it took them 5 1/2 hours to pack my kitchen so they were not able to finish packing anything else. I decided due to my budget to stop them so that I had enough time with them on moving day. The next day they were not able to move everything.

I'm only giving one star to these movers because I am missing items such as a portable barbecue charcoal grill that I had for over 30 years that I moved through two states and still had until this final move here in Colorado Springs where I am also missing a wooden white shelf with the brackets that I put on it, a pair of black and white shower curtains that were only used once they are missing.

We were transferring a resident to another apartment and helping hands gave us a $450 to $500 estimate. The final bill was $750. When I called the office (I think his name was Tony)he was rude and told me the price was non negotiable. It was a one bedroom apartment,740 square feet. The move was from one building to another on the same property. I feel like I was taken advantage of. I wouldn’t recommend them to any of my residents

Good Afternoon Kenneth, When I researched the job in question we found that the job was set up with the leasing manager and a quote was given of 4-5 hr.'s at our hourly rate, not 400-500 dollars. This was a general quote for a 2 bedroom apartment that was going to the 2nd floor.

On October 2nd we used helping hands to move my mother in law from one building to another at a local old folks facility. The man on the phone told us they would be there at 0830 and they didn’t show up till 0930 a hour late. What would have taken your average 2 man moving crew 4 maybe 5 hours to complete took them 9HOURS the moving crew is paid by the hour so milking it is an understatement. They milked the entire herd of cattle.

They did okay packing the front of the truck, but by the back of the truck they stopped caring and started throwing things in. They could have saved us money by packing things well, but for some reason they didn't. They stacked heavy things on top of light things and those items ended up breaking from the weight. We bought 36 packing blankets and they used very few causing our items to be scratched and ruined at our destination. Very disappointed in the quality.

They are worst experience ever for the money you pay avoid at all cost. They put scratches on walls. They were in the biggest rush to get done so they could go home. They did refund us some of our money but was the worst experience. They smoked pot on site seen my young daughter and wanted her number.. Now you all go from here and imagine what we went through. There was a couple boys that ended up doing most of the work and followed my directions clearly where I wanted my furniture.

These people took seven hours to move a couch, entertainment center, two kids rooms, a few boxes, and a master bedroom. Nothing else, from one side of town to the other. About 20 miles. The total charge was $1000 after “discounts”. I don’t understand why it took this long, and definitely not worth the money…. Save yourself the money, and hire another company.

Called to get a quote, the male answering the phone was incredibly unhelpful and hung up midway through the call. I thought the call dropped, but I tried to call back twice and was immediately forwarded making it quite clear that they were not interested in my business. Zero starts if I could. Easy choice to not trust these people with my move.

I had an amazing experience with this moving company today! Communication was great from start to finish, and setting up the appointment was super easy and stress-free. My movers, Mark and Ronald, were absolutely amazing — super friendly, professional, and incredibly quick. They honestly surprised me with how efficiently they worked while still being careful with my belongings. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone needing movers and will absolutely use them again for any future moving adventures.

I am extremely pleased with the service. I called a day before I needed moving services, and Helping Hands worked me into its schedule. My point of contact was Tony who was most accommodating. It was my intent to use one of the Angie's discount coupons, and Tony explained both to me, and offered to accept either one. We agreed on the 2 man x 2 hour coupon which I think is a really great deal. When the fellows arrived (which was right on time), 3 guys showed up but it was made clear the cost was still for 3-guys.

My wife and I hired Helping Hands to help us move into our first house together. They did a stellar job! Jake and Ronnie were very friendly, and were much faster than expected, and all for a great price! 10/10 excellent service, would strongly recommend.

Great movers!!! I had reserved another company that called me the day before I was supposed to move, which was supposed to be on a Friday, and said they were unable to do move. I called Steven at Helping hands and he scheduled mne to move the following Monday. It was short notice and the 2 employees, Steve and Ronny did a great job. They treated me and my belongings with respect; like it was their own belongings. For the last hour of the move, it rained and hailed like a SOB!
