DO NOT USE HENDRA - Fraud & Theft Hired Hendra (dealt with Chris) in April 2023 to unload my 16-foot POD in Surrey and deliver to Victoria. Quote: $2,632. The movers themselves were fine and professional however communication with the office and owners is not. I originally went with Hendra even though I received a significantly less expensive quote from a competitor under another multinational brand, because Hendra committed to showing up to our final destination on a certain date. after confirming the final date the night before my wife and I showed up to our new house at the agreed upon time and waited.

These guys have picked up some business from Purolator, Fedex, etc. as a drop-off point near Sidney. My Purolator shipment - sent on November 27 - didn't arrive in Sidney until December 2. By then, we had already moved to a new home on the lower mainland. Purolator then made a second delivery attempt on December 3, after which they dropped off the parcel at this location. On Friday December 6, I waited on hold for over 2 hours to talk to a Purolator agent.
The physical movers were great; however, the owner's son, who coordinated the move, was unresponsive... so much so that he failed to collect payment at the time of the move (although I tried to make payment before the move and also tried to pay the movers on the day of the move), and then contacted me after I had already left for the US, wondering if I could drop off payment at their office. I was forced to mail them a check via US priority service. Meanwhile, Hendra is holding my furniture...

No dolly at the beginning. They simply didn't check to see if they were on the truck. It cost extra because of this. Later after I posted this review, I was approached to change this review my review. You decide if you think that's the kind of company you want to do business with. Had they wanted a great review they would have followed up just after my move to see if I was happy. The guys on the truck were very argumentative too with my friend who was helping me due.

The customer service we received from Hendra was very poor. We had to constantly ask for updates and information and clearly we felt like we were bothering them each time (ie. when would are car arrive, updates on timing of the moving truck). 3 items were broken and we have yet to hear from Allied after calling 3 times. Hendra wouldn't help us at all. The service response declined especially after they received our final payment.

Hendra is definitely a class act: from Diane who skillfully and professionally estimated the move, to Pierre. Dmytro, and three other men who, with great attention to detail carefully packed and loaded our stuff into the van. The kitchen was packed up with extreme caution and absolutely nothing was broken or lost.
We used Hendra to move from Sidney to Cordova Bay. Diane came first and gave us a thorough inspection and quote so no surprises. THEN they DELIVERED FREE BOXES, TAPE, and PAPER. THEN they delivered MORE FREE BOXES AND WRAPPING! So getting ready for the move was simple thanks to Hendra. Come moving day, Jacob, Ed and James S. showed up exactly on time, set up, (good floor protection) and started moving. We had heavy complicated things to move and they figured it all out.
I was delighted in all my interactions with Hendra. When I phoned to inquire about a quote, they phoned back right away, efficiently took the info over the phone and provided a quote almost immediately. The quote was significantly less money than a rival company. On moving day, they showed up exactly when promised. Jason and Vince were professional, friendly, helpful, and extremely efficient. I was impressed with how carefully they treated my things. Nothing was damaged in the move.
Amazing experience from start to finish. We had a personal on site consult where an accurate estimate was provided.The crew wrapped all my furniture were very careful and everything arrived intact. They were polite and seemed genuinely happy to be there. The supervisor called in extra staff in the afternoon to ensure the job was finished on time and on budget. After everything was in our home they asked if anything needed to be moved.
