I am genuinely surprised by the positive reviews and disappointed that we did not have a good experience. We had a piano moved during our move within Hamilton. There weren’t enough crew members to lift it down the 5 stairs of our front door, which I communicated we had. I asked several times if Homeboy had experience moving pianos and they said they did. There weren’t enough crew members to lift the piano down our front steps.. no extra ramps or proper blankets were used to protect the piano.

editing my previous review with 3 stars, your snarky reply to my review is as BS as your "business" model. instead of replying to the numerous bad reviews you have earned with your shady extra hidden fees and working at a snails pace, why not instead try to EARN a good customer review. btw, buying Google reviews is against their terms of service so you'd better cut that out too. it's obvious. you don't have a 4.9. you have so many 1 star reviews. everything you do is shady. it's easy, be honest. work hard.
Hi Dee, I’m sorry you feel this way. We always do our best to work as efficiently as possible and to be transparent with pricing. Your move was estimated at 3-5 hours, and we provided a breakdown showing what the total would look like at both 3 hours and 5 hours so there wouldn’t be any surprises.
I was not happy with the service. I was quoted 3 hrs to complete the move. It took 4, which would have been fine if they had been working the full 4 hrs but they weren't. One of the movers was on his phone the majority of the time. They also tried to take my table apart and damaged it in the process.

I can honestly recommend Homeboy Movers for your home/office/storage moves. They truly add that personal friendly touch with everything they do. Homeboys were very careful and mindful of my items. My items were prewrapped and ready to go when they arrived. If time is a concern, make sure you request a large enough truck for a quick load out move and then you won't be stressed if you're on a strick time line. Communication is key with any move.

I hired Homeboy movers to move equipment from one city to another. Santiago quoted a reasonable price and was at the location promptly at the given time. The equipment was too heavy to be moved using a regular truck and so he offered to do it using a pump truck. When I declined, he refused to charge any money from me even though he had spent his time and gas commuting to the location. In addition to being honest and punctual, Santiago was also polite and courteous. He has a great work ethic.

Santiago, owner of Home Boy Movers, operates his business with passion and integrity. His team was with me every step of the way in moving out of a 2800 sq. Ft. house to a small bungalo. His staff was courteous, efficient and careful with my things. At one point, as a result of miscommunication by my realtor, I had to vacate the premises earlier than anticipated and remove EVERYTHING from the house. I was in a terrible panic. I called Santiago for help and within an hour he sent a crew and a truck my way.

Outstanding Last-Minute Moving Service I contacted Homeboy Movers after working hours, urgently needing help. To my surprise, they responded immediately and quickly put a plan in place. Within a short time, they had assembled a team of skillful, energetic, and dedicated young men who came to work after 9pm. Despite the late hour, they were professional, focused, and incredibly polite. They handled everything with care—carefully unwrapping furniture, moving items efficiently, and ensuring nothing was damaged.
