We felt that we were in great hands as soon as Joan arrived to give us an estimate for my dads move. She had been recommended by two different sources, so we were confident to book a full service move. It was such a pleasure to meet Beth and Catherine who do the packing and unpacking. They are so friendly, warm and efficient, and made helpful suggestions about things that we might have forgotten to bring. Moving day was super smooth.

I engaged TLC Moving for a scheduled move-out on March 17, 2026. The crew arrived on time, prepared, and conducted themselves in a professional and organized manner throughout. The move was significantly disrupted due to issues with building elevator access that were unrelated to the moving company. Despite advance booking, elevator access was refused upon their arrival, resulting in delays and the need to modify the moving process. This included partial removal of contents and a return visit to complete the move.

We hired TLC moving for my mom’s move and I can’t stress what a great experience we had from start to finish! Joan communicated quickly, honestly, fairly to all my concerns and questions. She provided an accurate quote of services discussed with no hidden fees or surprises. The movers were efficient, friendly and handled everything with great care. The icing on the cake was Catherine. Catherine packed, unpacked, set up, and beautified things!

From the initial planning meeting to the final push to clear out my Mom’s townhouse for sale, Joan was a consummate professional. Joan and her team provided a complete service for my Mom. This began with the planning of furniture and other pieces that would transition to my Mom’s retirement community. Her team came the day before the move to carefully wrap and pack her clothing, crystal, china and other keepsakes that she would take with her. This was done with a high degree of professionalism and care.
