The worst mover! Don't use Hugh's or you will be sorry. We paid over $11k to be packed and move from PA to CT and I still can't find some things. Boxes were cross packed, labeled incorrectly, if labeled at all, and the workers didn't speak English, and the lead was deaf! All this made for a very difficult few days. I have moved a number of times from state to state and this company was the worst! They placed some big boxes in a closet with sliding doors, then placed a tall armoire in front of the doors.

Zero stars. John Platek called me up and tried to get me to change my appointment to a virtual one. When I was reluctant he tried mansplaining at me. When I said, no thanks, I need an in-person estimate he hung up on me!!!! Then he never showed up. ZERO Stars! Rude and unprofessional. I will gladly use the competitor who showed up today, despite excessive heat. I will also be reporting him to UVL corporate.

We used Hughes to relocate these past few weeks. I would give a zero star if it allowed. The moving crew didn’t show up to load the truck and the crew didn’t show up on delivery. Temp workers were hired as the driver scrambled to find help. See attached photos of how our storage unit was loaded by the movers. No explanation needed. I reached out to our moving coordinator immediately and asked for help as our items are very damaged and continuing to get damaged due to the poor unloading and stacking.

I have moved many times in my life, but this was by far the worst experience I have ever encountered. The move was supposed to take place over two days, but they rushed it, getting it done in only one day. Things were just thrown in the garage and nothing went to the correct room. Nothing was put where it was supposed to go. The beds could not be put together because all the pieces were lost. Gross damage done to my property and unrealistic settlement to restore/replace all these items.

Once we arrived in PA n unloaded we found numerous items missing or stolen. All batteries to electric tools were missing n not given to us ti transport. Various wall hangings were taken. Furniture taken apart wasn't assembled at destination. Very poor attention to detail n service

Just passed a United Hughes Relocation Van Line truck on I95 in NC. Driver going 70+ while staring down at his phone and texting. That's safe...not.

Hughes relocation services is handling our very complicated move to several locations cross country. Day one with Gary, Hector, Cooper, and Sam had gone smoothly even in the rain! I especially appreciate that none of the guys got flustered with the couple of issues that arose.
