Terrible Experience with Interstate Moving & Storage/NAVL I had an absolutely horrific experience with this moving company that has left me traumatized and out several thousand dollars for subpar, dishonest service. They were very persistent about getting my business initially & told me what an easy process this would be. Despite being recommended by my realtor, they turned what should have been a smooth move into a nightmare of theft, incompetence, and zero accountability.

***UPDATE - 3 months later and our broken furniture claim is still not resolved. Their claims department lies and gaslights. Don’t use them! They broke our stuff, ghosted us for months on our claim, then sent some random people to my house to collect our “damaged” furniture who then tried to take all our undamaged furniture. We have no resolution for all the damage they did to our furniture and will need to go through arbitration.

Interstate Moving and Relocation moved my home goods from Rochester, NY to Denver area, CO on the 20th of July. They gave an estimate based on a video call 6 weeks earlier. Later, the night before the actual moving date a "quality assurance" call was made. No video account of goods but descriptions provided by me. We had subtracted a few items and added comparably less. We were asked about the linear length of clothing in closets.

Never have we experienced the level of negligence, disrespect, and complete disregard for our family and belongings as we did with Interstate Moving Company during our most recent overseas PCS back to the United States.

I have relocated multiple times and have used several household goods movers in the past. This is the first move where I’ve experienced these kinds of issues. Multiple items were damaged while in the carrier’s custody, and when I submitted a claim, the company attempted to avoid full liability by offering a partial settlement rather than proper repair or replacement. Communication has been a significant problem throughout the claims process.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. I would give negative stars if I could. My husband and I did a cross country move from VA to CO with them. When we initially got our quote from them we were assured our stuff would be taken directly to CO. During the move the third party they hired to complete the move took our stuff to a warehouse where they unpacked everything and then repacked it in a totally different truck. When they arrived in CO it was clear the they had just haphazardly thrown our stuff in the truck.

I wish google had the option to leave negative stars. We moved with interstate through the military, moving from NC to AR. Mind you, there is ONE STATE in between those two (TN). Doesn’t seem to complicated for a moving company does it? Well, our HHG were picked up on July 1 and dropped off in AR on the 19. In those two weeks, this sad excuse for a company lost approx. 1/5 of our items, and broke another 1/5. Every day since I’m finding marks and dents and things wrong with our furniture in our home.

If I could post a zero star review I would but couldn’t move forward without selecting one. Don’t ever use this company, they sent thieves into our house. They didn’t complete the job I paid for and I paid 4,880. I’m disabled and paid for packing and unpacking but the guys they sent refused to unpack and remove all boxes and packing paper saying it wasn’t their job. They were supposed to stay all day until the job was done but left after 3 and a half hours having arrived an hour and a half late.
